The year's almost over and I had a date today so I figured I'd straighten my hair just to check the length since I hadn't done so since September. Anyways, I'm going to post pictures from when I chopped the ragged ends in January all the way up to now. Btw, I don't measure my hair b/c I have layers and it wouldn't be accurate if I did that so there won't be any measurements here.

You just boosted me up b/c that's mainly my goal by July of 2012. The date was lovely!

Wow, that's some awesome progress, girl! You went from NL to knocking on APL's door!

You know you can't come up in here with pitchas like this without telling us your reggie!

You are such a pretty young lady and you have beautiful hair.

Congrats on your progress!!! Amazing retention. :)

Sent from my iPhone while out living my best life!

Congratulations, your hard work shows off with your retention. Keep up the good work and APL here you come, just around the corner.

Reggie: I take my multivitamin - Alive! Women's Energy and Bamboo Silica (from Swanson Vitamins) everyday!

From September on to now I wore twists a lot. I'm still flat ironed as we speak, but I'll be going back to twists really soon.

I only use Darcy's Botanical, Shea Moisture, Chagrin Valley, Aubrey Organics, and Little Penguin's Honey and Vanilla Bean smoothie in my hair.

I also sometimes use brahmi, amla, and bringaraj oils in my hair.

Mostly though, I just wear twists and keep them moisturized. I am about to really stick to a specific regimen as I'm going to incorporate more ayurvedic herbs into my hair. Also I eat a lot of sushi (Philadelphia Rolls) and I drink a lot of water.

I wash my hair either with the Ayurvedic Bar, Cafe Moreno bar, or Shea moisture retention shampoo. If I use the bars, I condition with AO Honeysuckle Conditioner. If I use the retention shampoo i use the restorative conditioner.

I moisturize my hair with Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing smoothie, Darcy's Botanical transitioning cream, the pumpkin conditioner, madagascar vanilla stuff, and the avocado honey twist on each section before i actually twist. After I'm done twisting I spray the herbal mist (from Darcy's), rub almond oil throughout all the twists at once and sometimes put Darcy's daily leave in throughtout all the twists also. Then I'll wear a bonnet at night. Throughout the week if my hair is dry, I'll run water on it when i'm in the shower.

I also tie up and bobby pin the twists so the ends aren't out in the open. I work at lowes and yeah don't need hair all in my face.

The honey and vanilla bean smoothie i just received so I just started using that on my hair also.

Sometimes I deep condition with the restorative mask from shea moisture and sometimes I use AO's GPB conditioner.
