My shrinkage is very similar to this. It's one reason why I'm afraid to trim. You think you're trimming 1/2 an inch and end up trimming a couple of inches

My hair does the exact same thing. It is good to see others who have the same type of super shrinkage.

No matter how long it gets if you wash and let dry it still looks like a short to medium afro.

I was expecting to see great lengths the way it was going in here. Her hair is nice and I am going to sub. My hair still shrinks up to my ears even tighter then that if I leave it loose with a moisturizing DC. I love seeing highly textured healthy hair.

Yeah, it still looks about 50% to me. She has about 3-3.25 inches of hair and it shrinks to about 1.5 inches.

I wasn't trying to rain on ya'll parade though...I just didn't get the amazement. She has short hair and it shrinks...shorter.

I enjoyed the video. I haven't seen any video of hers before this and will check her channel. I like seeing people in the growing process, her hair isn't very long at the moment but I see her using methods that make styling and caring for her hair [hair type and length] easier, and I like it. I identify more with her than someone with waist length hair.
I enjoy seeing ultra long hair and reading and watching people with it, because my goal is having very long length, but at the moment I am at the same stage this lady.

Wow! Shrinkage is a beast man. She's a lovely lady with great hair. It looks really soft. Someone upthread said it stretches to 3.5 inches, but the youtuber's hair is well past shoulder length stretched and possibly APL when straightened. I certainly wasn't expecting to see it stretch so far.

I think it's more than 4 inches when she pulls it straight. She has a good inch between her fingers.

I envy her hair! We have the same cottony texture, but my hair would never detangle like hers. My hair is really tightly coiled, especially when wet. She hardly has any defined coiled, thus making the detangling process easier than mine I think.
