Now i will have to wait for my hair to grow back out  Maybe in about 6 months i can do this.

What styles do you want to try next year?

I'm at the point now (and have been for awhile now) where any style that is low maintenance, get-up-and-go, and easy to take down, are the right choice for me. I am sure 2012 will be the same, although I always have ideals for the most elaborate hair styles. When it comes down to actually doing them, I'm always like, "*** this ish" lmbo.

I want to try some updo's and color. I have too many hair accessories to allow my nappy afro to get all the shine. LOL

I want to try a lot. This past year I mostly experimented at home with products. In 2012, I hope to get my first flexi set, my first straw set, and my first set of goddess braids. I also want to try some more elaborate braided styles to help me keep my hands out of my hair. I also hope to find my staple moisturizer/leave in.

My nape hasn't grown out like it usually does. I've been cutting out the ole dead dyed hair over the past year but I can pin it up now. I'll be using Jheri Juice over the winter :look: so I should see some real growth by Summer.

I've been thinking about trying the juice too and see how that helps my twist outs. hmmmm.....

I want to try a flexirod set but I'm in the No Heat Challenge and I don't know if there are any passes so I might have to pass on that.
Hopefully I will finally be able to try buns! Never been able to make a bun with my own hair in my entire life.
And more updos. After my personal HYH challenge is over in May I hope to experiment with updos. Let's see how that goes.

Rollersets, updos and juicy, beautiful twist outs. Oh and straight back cornrows in the summer once I meet my 1st hair goal.

I love French braids. I would love to retain all 5-6 inches next year so that my french braid can have a longer, thicker tail. I have a decent tail now, but I tuck it under and pin it.

Traycee is my inspiration.

Now my hair is starting to hang, I'm going start making a serious attempt at braidouts, especially after I make some flaxseed gel for hold.

-More updo styles on bantu knot-outs
-perfect my flat twists for :
-twist-outs (a new fav of mine)
-flat twist updos
-swangin, blangin straight hurr (I may straighten it in December..)
-flexi rod sets

If I can get my hands to cooperate (I struggle with hand and wrist strains from typing from work)I would really like to get a two strand twist game together.

And I need to get over my paranoia/hang up about having my hair braided or twisted up for protective styling. I have done the homework, know what and what not to do, but I just cant bring myself to do it

daydreem2876 I have that too. My right hand straight up gets numb while twisting for long periods :(

Keep practicing my cornrows so I can do more elaborate styles:)

I completely agree:grin: I've been watching youtube videos like crazy trying to learn how to cornrow. I can think of so many braiding hairstyles but don't have the skills to do them:nono:. Very annoying:sad:

-i want my southern tease bun to be fuller.

-mini twists that hang at apl

-that style currently in mwedzi 's siggy :look:

-a braid out that hangs b/n SL and APL w/o using heat

-lightly flat ironed hair that hangs at MBL.

-"Pocohantas" braids touch my tatas :look:

For the winter i will have cornrow extensions that will be re-braided every 2 weeks (this is nothing new for me), but after that i really want to try a flexi rod set and learn how to flat twist for twist-outs. Styling has always been a struggle for me hopefully this can change in 2012:yep:
