How Long Do Your Protective Styles last??

My protective styles are usually braids or twists with extentions but I've been trying to do more protective styling with my own hair such as mini twists. I've had mine in for just over two weeks now and I'm ready to take them out. When I use extensions my hair lasts for almost two months with no manipulation so I'm finding that two weeks is a little much for what I'm used to. Just want to know how long your protective styles with your own hair last and what styles you guys are doing.

My protective style is braids under a wig. I redo the braids and detangle once a month, but I hide my hair in wigs for 2-3 months at a time. Then I wear my natural hair out for a couple of weeks and repeat the wig regimen

Styles like mini twists or braid (like yarn braids or mini braids) go up to a month. But a general style like medium twists or braids that I put in for a braid//twistout will last like 5 days, then I wear my hair down for a day and then the following day is wash day.
