I use to change my regimen, this time...blah.. i'm not changing anything...keeping it in twisted styles, twist outs, Buns, and whatever else, for a week. Wash it once a week, maybe twice depending on how much I sweat during my workouts and leave it be.... The only thing I might..and it's a small might, is DC more often...

I plan to straighten a few times (I've only straightened once since I've been natural). I can't wait to wear my beanies/hats, and I'll probably throw a wig or two in there somewhere. When I WNG I will do it early evening and plop overnight.

I have been wearing wngs basically all summer. I planned on wearing them during the winter, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm really sick of having wet hair, especially since I just caught a cold. Wearing my hair straight is out of the question because I'm so scared of getting heat damage. Wigs look like hair helmets on me. Due to the length of my hair, buns and other protective styles will require too much manipulation in order for them to look decent. I was thinking about braids, but I know that extra hair on my head will drive me crazy. I'm at a loss.:perplexed

You are like me, I have been anti-heat for so long but I have learned a lot since my daughter has become a straight hair natural. If done right you can wear your hair straight without the damage. I know I will be doing more braidouts this winter since I can't wear twists since my hair is fine, they look so thin and spaced out.

The only thing I may chagne is if I have trouble retaining moisture I'll start baggying at night. I discovered it late last winter but I'll break it out as soon as needed this time

I was all with the wigs last year. I'll probably either wig it or weave it up. But I'm not sure yet. I took a hiatus from protective styling in the summer because I was all for the WnGs. So I'll probably be back on my serious protective styling grind... :(

For some reason, my hair is easier to manage during the colder months. I have to wash it so much during the Summer.

I have a naturally oily scalp, so I suppose the humidity of Summer makes it worse, but Winter weather is perfect for my hair. I don't have to wash it as often, styles last longer and I have virtually no frizz.

I'm gonna be a perpetual protective-styler.
My ol' faithful product line-up will remain the same.
