You know that smooth sealed feeling your hair has after your hair has been relaxed/texlaxed? How do you keep it? Are there certain products or techniques ? Please share...

no i never get that fresh relaxed feeling. That's usually from the relaxer that's doing it. Once its washed out after a couple times, your true texture feeling comes back

idk maybe its bceause im texlaxed but my relaxed hair has the same strand texture as my natural hair. it just smooths out easier.:ohwell:

I know the "feeling" you're talking about because I just relaxed on Friday. I'm lovin' it!

This is an interesting question. I've never tried to keep the smoothness though. I think you can take nonie's advice and you may have to flat iron your roots often.

I don't like that idea because I hate using direct heat.

It's a kind of long process, but here's how I do it:

1. Deep condition with ceramides. I like Nexxus Humectress with Safflower Oil in it.
2. Do some porosity stuff. I like to do an ACV rinse or use Porosity Control.
3. Apply some serum, along with your leave-in and what have you. I like Chi Silk Infusion.
4. Rollerset your hair, making sure that it's really really wet.
5. Silk-wrap.

And sometimes, I flat iron my roots too.
