Twistout from twists that had been in far too long. I was only going to wear the twistout for a day or two. On my son's bday, we were outside so he could try out his new bike. It was a covered area at my inlaw's, but they are about 2 1/2 hours away from the Gulf Coast, so we had a big share of water and wind! This was my hair after.

This literally happened in the space of about 15 minutes. Darn that kid and his bike! :lachen:

I was going to wash it today anyway, so it's not that big of a deal.

Looks beautiful either way. But i know about that wind and water etc. That reminds me of the birthday thread i started a few years ago. i'm pretty infamous for that

Girl, you sure can sport a twist out. Talk about nice. Well, at least you were about to wash it, and at least you got that pic beforehand.

I remember that thread! Didn't you have a nice happy smile in the before picture and then a :ohwell: look on your face after. I was rolling!

So, you've heard of me :lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen: Yeah, that's the one.

Your hair is beautiful (as are you). I could only dream of having that thickness!

Still looks good to me. But I know how you feel. I had a nice braidout today and the wind and light rain we had today tore it up. And I just went around the corner to the store. When I got in the house DH said you alright?

Thanks, though your hair looks really thick (and soft) in your siggie...

LOL!

My DH also had some smart words...something along the lines of could we chalk my hair up to the devastation of this tropical storm? :nono:

I agree. And your hair looks like this on your wash day? It really didn't do that much to it. Did the wind make it tangled?

The wind did tangle it more. My twist had been in a long time so they were starting to mat/loc at the roots in the back. :nono:

If I had had any sense, I would've used a scarf while outside. I really just didn't think it would be that bad.
