Who rides with their windows down in the car? Not I! I hate for my hair to blow in the wind and mess it up! I would rather be hot and roll that **** up, than for it to blow. DH could have all the windows down and mine will be up. When I'm in the car alone I rock the a/c baby. :nono:

I like the windows down, especially in the Fall. My hair always looks wild anyways so it doesn't matter

Well I don't know how you do it! DH just got a motorcycle. I said ok take me for a ride. Afterwards I looked like Gumby.

I hate the windows all the way down, I only "crack" the window next to me if I need air. I dont even hate it because it messes up my hair style( I can always fix that after the ride is over) I hate it because my hair gets blown all over the place; in my mouth, in my eyes, everywhere!! Ugh hair blowing is definitely a pet peeve and the SO insists on having all the windows down when we drive. Talking about he needs some cross ventilation haha, Man please! You better roll up them windows! hehe

I enjoy having the windows down. Especially since I went natural. I only have 8 mos. worth of hair so it's not much mess up.

I like the windows all the way down :look: I guess since Ive only got a puff.. I'm not really concerned with the hair blowing in my eyes/ mouth cause it aint there yet  maybe I'll grow enough in the upcoming months and join the club of hating to ride with the windows down :lachen: (I hope so)

I love the windows down. I hate my hair blowing. It's a constant battle:drunk:

:yep: Me too. :lachen:

For me, it all boils down to lip gloss. Back when I was relaxed, I always wore my hair long, straight and down, so I didn't like the wind blowin' my hair alllllll up on my lip gloss and what not.

But now that I'm natural, I don't care if my hair blows and I love the feel of the wind in my face. My hair is too curly and shrinks up too much to really reach my lip gloss now, so it doesn't matter.

And yes ... I'm serious. :lachen:

Me too. Now that I only have about 8 months of natural hair, I love the windows down!

But, when my hair was relaxed and long, I didn't like it so much. It used to get caught in the door, stick to my lipstick/gloss, wrap itself around my head, etc....

I know what you mean but I rather have the windows down. I love fresh air and I only use the AC when it is boiling outside or I'm stuck in traffic.

I thought I was the only one! When I ride in the car with my sisters they stay having their windows all the way down, I put a scarf on because I want my edges to lay down flat .

Windows UP!! DH just knows. He's trained. His down, mine up and don't let his be down too much to blow some air over my way or he gets the side eye and he just rolls them all up and flips on the A/C. I used to have a convertible and always had a hat when I drove because my hair would feel like straw after driving with the top down. pookaloo83 Invest in a cute full face helmet and tie your hair back in a french roll. When you park and take that helmet off, pull that pin out and do a shake with your hair and BAM!! (But I always put a hat in the saddle bags just in case:look:)

Windows all the way down. I'm like a Puppy! LOL If it's really hot I'll roll them up half way and put the A/C on as well, but I LOOOOOOVE fresh air!

my 91 jeep came with only two windows that roll down and no AC, those two windows are always down when I am in there, even in the rain!

It is boiling hot here most of the time, and when it's not it's cold. So the window is always up. I would probably pass out driving with the windows down. Between the air quality and the heat, there a'int no "fresh air" out there.

Also, I like to have my hair stretched. When I have the windows down and the humidity hits it, it shrinks up which I hate! I think that's the main reason too.

My DH and I just about fist fight about the window issue. He loves all the windows down (at least the front two) and I don't want wind. For one, it hurts my ears (not as bad on the motorcycle cause the helmet blocks the wind in my ears). Second, when I wear my hair "out" with side bangs, the bangs blow and get on my lip color AND they shrink up a bit in the wind--not a good look.

I completely agree!
I used to put my windows down when i was relaxed and my hair would assault me and get stuck in my lippin gloss but i's natural now!!

I hate the wind blowing in my face. Period. I def don't like it blowing in my hair!! I'm with you Pook!

Loose hair, no way. Bunned hair OK.

I keep the windows up, top open and a/c blowing, but the car I drive mostly creates a down draft that can even mess up a bun. :ohwell:

wind blown hair = dry hair

I LOVE to drive with the windows down!!! All the way down especially if the natural is weave up. I believe flat edges to be an impossibility and I love volume. But if I am goingot a wedding on an event I use the AC.

i can so relate.
i LOVE having the windows down. can't stand AC.

but ain't **** glamorous about stepping into the car with my twistout hanging almost to my shoulders and exiting with it at my ears. hmph.

Nope I love having the windows down! It just feels way too good to pass up. My DH would tell me I'd look crazy once we got to our destination when I was relaxed but that wind on my face was worth it to me. Now as a natural with shorter hair it's even better because nothing is whipping me in my face violently like it's mad at me. lol.
