are you natural?
if there are parts that no longer curl or have waaay looser curl than before...that's a sign

The ways I know are:

-If your hair is excessively dry and brittle after using heat recently, and...
-If your ends are split or feel crispy or look ragged.

Yes I'm natural and I got my blow dried and flat ironed on Tuesday. It wouldn't hold any curls so last night I dced and co washed, It looks okay but it doesn't feel the same.:ohwell:

my hair wouldn't revert back 100% and it smelled burnt. i couldn't get rid of that smell to save my life. i was walking around looking like somebody from Ready For The World!

Hair that doesn't revert back =/ I have heat damage at the nape. My hair doesn't revert back entirely to its curls...

I have a little on one side of my nape too. When it's wet or I've applied product, it's like a big wave, but once it dries, it looks just like the rest of my nape which is sorta like a silky 4a while the rest of my head is a mix of mostly kinky 4a with more silky 4a in the front.

I think my frequent protein use helped with my reversion.
