6 Month Afroversary!!

Yaaaayyyy!!!

Today I am 6 months natural and 14 months post relaxer! It's been a fun 6 months...I hope the rest of the year is just as fun!

1-3 months

4-6 months

Me today just woke up

I did trim 1/4 an inch off last nite due to splits and knots

Within these 6 months I've learned that my hair has 3 different curl types. I get a lot of shrinkage in the back and on the sides which are also my ssk areas.

I LOVE my hair!! the only thing I don't like is that the front/crown areas are loosely curled and they don't hold twists very well but other than that it's all good

Still no urge to relax...just to get back to waist length

i'm happy about your progress and i'm glad you stated how many months you were post relaxed. most people will just start a thread raving about their great grow in a short period of time, but won't mention they have been growing out their hair for over a year, or more.!

Yeah I found it very confusing when i was transitioning and some ppl would only put the years/months natural they were instead of also saying how many months they were post relaxer when I was just trying to get an idea what my hair would like at that timeframe.

It's absolutely annoying! And THEN it has the nerve to wanna flop the wrong way.

But I'm still very much in love with my hair.
