6 Months Post Yoo Hoo!!!

Hey ladies!

I'm officially 6 months without a relaxer and 'hair' life couldn't be better!

Sure there are ups and downs, misunderstandings, good and bad times (just like a marriage) you work at it and that is what me and my hair are doing. Working together!

Congrats, lookin good! I am only 13 weeks post relaxer, but I also plan to transition for a LONG time...without doing the BC. Can't wait til' I am at 6 months! I am definately inspired by your pics...thanks!

Hey congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im currently 20 wks. and was planning on relaxing this Sat. but I really want to push it to 24 wks. I bought a really wide toothed comb yesterday that glides through my dry hair, b/c I have this area of thick coarse hair in the top of my head thats kinda a headache but the comb makes combing a breeze.

THanks OP. We've known for a while, but I have just waited to post my little ticker. Thanks for the congrats and you are right, it wasn't that long, although it seemed like it was before.

BACK ON TOPIC: You hair looks FABULOUS!!!! COngrats on making it 6 months, you are great inspiration for those of us that struggle to 10 weeks. Like me

DiamondStar - no problem girl. Stalk away. A real inspiration is my sister Chosenbygod. She is definitely NOT style challenged and is 19 weeks into her transition. She's on Fotki, check her out!

Britt - you can push to 24 weeks. As long as you see no breakage, keep going. You hair will thank you!

Anky - funny thing is, I was a constant shedder while relaxing. I have much less shedding now than I've ever had. Alas, my hair just wasn't going to do with a relaxer what your hair is doing with a relaxer as far as being thick AND healthy.
