wow, congrats!
I really need to learn to rollerset. I usually get frustrated and end up chucking them across the room, LoL.

how many inches do think your hair grew?

I would have to say that I honestly don't know, but if I had to guess, I would say 2''-2.5''. I am buying an official length check t-shirt so I won't have to guess. My brother is terrible with helping me take the pics, so that was the best one I could get. I am APL, but I am 6'3, so on a shorty, I would be full BSL by now:) I am hoping to be FULL BSL by Christmas 2011.

I have been doing the HHJ thing since 2002 with MANY setbacks, but this was my first successful roller set ever. The things that helped me were:

*Using smaller red/purple rollers(The gray ones are too big for me to work with even though that's what they use at the Dominican Salon)
*Using the spray bottle with water or Infusium 23 to re-wet sections that were dried already
*Using my Jilbere Shower Comb to detangle and the rat tail comb to smooth the hair
*Tossing the metal clamps I had and replacing them with the ones with the space, so it was so much easier to slide in and lock rollers in place.

Now I will be roller setting weekly (I think I am a pro now:) to see if I can retain more length over the next 25 weeks.

Thanks for these tips. I also have a set of grey rollers, and so far i can't make them work. And i have a mix of clips, but the ones that slide all the way down are easier to work with. I'll have to re-assess and try again with my spray bottle. I'd love to be able to accomplish a nice rollerset like you.
