You did a great job. I would like to see what it looked like after the 2nd or 3rd day when the curls loosened.

Because my nails were done. I'd never used any of the products before and I didn't know what effect they would have on the nail finish and color.

She has a nails blog and requested specific nails colors of the bridesmaids. She planned for the wedding photog to take creative shots of our nails.

So I wore the gloves to protect my nails for that reason.

Her hair is cute and she was smart to get the roots braided! That will help keep her style from getting puffy!

And I like your purple nails!

I love it, you did a fantastic job. Your friend is beautiful.

I clicked on your blog, do you have a photo of when you did your hair similar and it swelled up?

Beautiful.... you did a great job. Just think every time she looks at her wedding pics she will think of you--What an awesome friend.

Girl, you ought to patent that style!! I thank you so much for sharing this. I was showing some one today your braid n curl on youtube. You rock!

Beautiful! Can I ask what the effect of plaiting half of it is? (couldn't really tell from final pic)

OP, I know this thread is about her hair, and it looks wonderful.... :yep:

But her skin.............. :luv2: What kind of fairy dust does she use. :fairy: It's beautiful.
Please share all her secrets. LOL :sekret:

LOL. Giiirrrlll. Don't even bother. That's pure genetics. lol. Makes me sick! She doesn't do anything special to keep her skin clear.

Although I will say she was wearing Mac, but not much of it. HERE is an older thread where she is not wearing make-up and you can see her skin looks the same.

This was the first time I'd ever done a braid n curl on her hair and length. But for my hair, it makes my roots wavy. (scroll up to a few posts for my hair)

Generally, braiding lets you show off more length along with a spiral curl. Typically, spiral curls with out braid-stretched roots makes your hair appear shorter than what it is.

If I were to do her hair again in this style, I think I would braid the hair further down or use larger perming rods. I think you may be able to see the wave then.

I really like this style. The next time I style my hair, I think I will do a variation on this where I finger coil my hair midway as opposed to perm rod setting it. I have no perm rods and I'm being cheap :) LOL

Thanks, makes sense
