@westNDNbeauty I've always love this style.. Love it when I 1st saw you do it and now I love it even more.. Maybe this question was asked but her hair was dry right and you just put the product on and then plait and roll?
Also you just took the rollers out and nothing else right? I asked because the front of her hair looks wavy like you may have take seperated the curls.. Koils by nature was the only product you use on her hair?
Sorry but I was so busy looking at your pictures that I took the time to read your blog and got my answer to the products she usedbut still unsue if you seperated the curls.. Sorry if I am being a pest just when I try this style I want to do it right

@westNDNbeauty ---love the style, may have to try since I have perm rods sitting around, but may use larger size. Question, on the take down process, for some reason it looks like you are using something (bobbypin) to remove the braids --am I seeing things (I am sleepy & been in front of a computer all day)
Thanks. I'm hoping to see some honeymoon pics. Maybe I'll get permission to share.
Hey ladies!!! Thanks for all of the wonderful compliments...I'm so lucky to have a bestie who is natural and can do my hair! Here are a couple of pics from the honeymoon to show how the hair held up.

This was Day 3 hair as soon as we got to Jamaica. I didn't do anything to it at night other than sleep with a bonnet.

This was later on in Day 3...it started to expand a little with the humidity.

This was Day 4 hair...right before I washed it. The roots swelled, but the coils at the end stayed and started to look very weird and fuzzyI separated it a little more for a bigger fro, but still didn't like the way it looked anymore...and I knew my hair would be getting wet sooner or later so I washed it.
