Okay so I always see people saying they're not impressed with MBL/WL hair. So uhm, what are you impressed with and if it's not MBL/WL, why?

(I'm asking because it's not like I walk around seeing people with MBL+ hair regularly of any race, so to have this standard is a little high to me lol. :look:)

If anyone is curious, I'm impressed with APL and beyond hair that's shiny, thick, healthy, etc.. SL as well if the growth rate is amazing and the hair is bomb. :look:

i'm impressed with thick healthy hair. i dont care about length because people can choose to keep their hair at a certain length... but whe you have super thick, moisturized hair with healthy a$$ ends... well then you have my respect.....

like with my self. i've been able to get to long lengths but i'm not satisfied with it because i dont naturally have thick hair, so while i get kudos from others, i'm always looking at pix of my own hair and being not impressed because its not super thick like domins hair you know

Of course I am impressed with length (I think anyone is really), APL and below, but it really doesn't matter what race. I often see caucasian women with thick and luscious hair with lots of body or curls and I am still  over it. I just love healthy hair in general regardless of who's head it's on.

Exactly how I feel! Doesn't matter the race my face will look like this: :lovedrool:

Hair doesn't necessarily have to be thick to impress me because there are women who simply don't have thick hair but their hair looks great!

I am more impressed with healthy hair without the stringy, chewed up ends. It doesn't have to be shiny either because not everyone has shiny hair or chose to use aids to create shinier hair.

ETA: I am most impressed by women who have dramatic hair transformations due to better hair practices whether they are NL, SL, CBL, APL, and etc...

I never thought about length until I joined the forum.
Most people are not on a mission to grow their hair down to their butt
I dont see someone with chin length hair year after year and assume they're not taking care of it. Maybe that's just the length they like to maintain it at

Still, I appreciate length just because of the time involved in growing it

YES! I don't mind if the hair is thin naturally as long as it's not thin due to strange practices.

Exactly! It is more so the healthy hair process than the final results that impresses me. That shows that you got the process pretty much down to help carry you to healthier hair at longer lengths if you choose to grow your hair longer.

I cannot give a thumbs up if you hair is to your waist and choppy...you hair is just not as healthy as it could be and something is wrong. Instead, I will give more credit to the lady with SL blunt cut (not necessarily thick) hair.

I just love to see some straight, long, weaved up lace-front hair...I prefer platinium blond please!!! It just make me go :Copy of 2cool::smooches::lovedrool:

j/k

I like straight and curly healthy hair, it does not have to be blunt cut cuz some people wear their hair curly, don't have to be long either. I mostly look if the style suits the shape of their face. A nice complementary hair color that doesn't look dried out is a plus.

Yeah, women with long color treated hair that is still healthy impress me especially if they are relaxed. That definitely goes back to the process and technique of properly handling your hair.

Health is was impresses me. I'd be more impressed by a woman with thick, shiny, swinging SL hair than a woman with scraggly, fried WL hair.

Yes if their hair is coloured, I'm stuck wondering what on EARTH they did to retain hair that's supposed to be severely weakened by double processing. :look:

I know! I guess a lot of protein treatments, moisturizing and sealing, and protective styling.

But that is just MY guess. I have no plans of testing my theory out but kudos to the ladies who fall into this category! You all rock!

I'm very tempted to use my no ammonia hair colour... I think I might by June after a trim.

I'm impressed by healthy hair at any length. However, when its healthy AND at least APL that really makes me turn my head. Hope to be there myself at year end. :yep: Never had hair that long in my life, I will be SUPER elated and will be posting pics, and won't care at all who is or is not impressed.

i think i'm impressed most by thick hair! (probably b/c i don't have it:ohwell:)

but thick hair is #1... thick STYLED HAIR ( layers, shapes, no bland boring-iiiish:yawn:... again i don't have it :grin:)... and beautiful colors! I love hair with gorgeous low & highlights,

thick hair, healthy luscious looking hair, color done the right way! (singer Olivia usually has some nice color---makes #1 very hard tho')
I like long hair... but a bad arse hair cut trumps long broom stick hair anyday:yep::yep:
big hair !!!
