My all time favorite DC is now discontinued - Bumble and Bumble Super Rich

Yes to Carrots Moisturizing Mud Mask is what I like now. It is magical when used with a steamer.

My Honey Child's - Olive You Deep Conditioner, Coconut Papaya Hair Paste, & Organic Shea Butter Hair Paste!! OMGoodness!! I've tried a lot of conditioners and to me these are the best! All natural ingredients!!! It's a bit pricey! So I started mixing some of the same ingredients myself into a less expensive organic conditioner (my mix is still not as good but it will do). But I highly recommened anyone to try them at least once, to see how a good deep conditioning treatment should feel.

Bee Mine BEE U TI FUL Moisurizing Deep Conditioner

Agreed. These are also very, very nice.:yep:

Do you guys usually sit under a hooded dryer when you deep condition?

Also, does Silicon Mix contain any protein?

I have two faves: Aubrey Organics White Camelia and YES to CARROTS!!! Yes to Carrots is lush and yummy to my hair :lick:!! Good stuff!!

Nah, I can honestly say I haven't used a hooded dryer to DC in about 2 yrs. I usually wash and condition in the shower, and since I'm anemic (and always cold), all that getting in and out of the shower to sit under the dryer with this treatment and that on my hair is too much!

Also, I can't wash in the sink to do the dryer afterwards b/c my hair would be a tangled, knarled mess, and it would be almost impossible to train it backward into place for my trademark bun/twist with a clip. I put on a cap and wrap a towel around, sit and do my body scrub, shave, let my body sweat from the bathroom/shower steam (great for skin), etc. for max 15 mins then rinse. I hope to get a hair steamer soon, though...then I will have to deal with getting in and out of the shower to rinse. :ohwell:

I like Parnevu Hair Mayo... loved it as a relaxed head, and still love it as a natural. It doesn't get too many props on this board...But I think it's the shiz.

So far my faves have been Banana Brulee from she scent it and Curl Junkie's Banana + Hibiscus Deep Fix.....i have tried Silicon Mix Bambu when i was transitioning but im gonna try the regular one pretty soon....my hair needs LOTS of moisture :yep:

It's between these two IMO:

Bee Mine Bee-U-Ti-Ful Deep Conditioner

and

CURL REHAB - MOISTURIZING HAIR TREATMENT

For me being totally honest it is Honey and Sage dc by Blackonyx77world! My hair was amazing after that and I did not use heat, just applied it completely bagged for 30 min. and rinsed it out. It is amazing to say the least. And I am in no way affliliated with her, just wanted to try it but ended up loving it.

Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayo

I think this is a pretty strong protein conditioner. I use this as my protein DC mixed with an egg once every 1-2 months but I wouldn't use it as a follow up to a hard protein treatment like the OP is planning to do.

I'm looking for an extremely moisturizing deep condtioner to use after serious hard protein treatments. Anyone have any recommendations?

Silk Elements deep moisturizing treatment and Yes to Carrots

My hair is soo dry that I usually mix coconut milk with any moisturizing DC and if I'm not too lazy I'll add honey and EVOO or EVCO in addition to the cocunut milk.

Silk elements mega silk moisturizing conditioner, it was the ONLY thing that brought my hait back from protein overload.

One good way I find out about DCs is by stealing some from a friend or family member. My sister loaned O DClive You to me (although its slowly becoming a GIFT), And I cant believe how soft my hair is!!! The consistency of the DC is watery and not thick. but i used my conditioning cap from hot n gold (everybody go out and get one) and my hair was suuuuuuuuper soft.
