March 12, 2011. Parets please . . . do NOT give your babys weaves. When they're older its OK . . . but the child's hair is JUST COMING IN . . . and you're subjecting it to a lot of stress . . .

Right! I think that style is too grown for a 3 year old. What happened to just putting pigtails or cornrows with beads in children's hair?
 
I feel so sad for that little girl.
Maybe she was just practicing how to do a weave and decided to try it out on her babygirl? That does'nt make it any better, but I can't think of any other explanation why a mother would do such a thing. *SMH*
 
This might sound kinda dumb but maybe she's just using the baby as a head model. To me it looks like she's making a wig for herself.

That's what my sister just said. And she is the weave queen. She was like she's just using the girl as a mannequin head. :lol:
 
She's just making a wig. You can see the plastic cap on the baby's head under the wig cap.

A wig made with the dimensions of a 2/3 Yr olds head would not fit that of an adult. When I make wigs on the styrafoam head they give you at the BSS oftentimes even that won't fit most women so either way she's a hot ghetto mess.

But her head is bigger than a toddlers head :perplexed

She is shyt out luck, it that is really her plan for size :lol:

that's what i thought. still she should have asked one of her home girls or family members. better yet BUY YOU A MANNEQUIN HEAD.
 
LOL Platinum! I concur. I have no idea what that lady is doing but either way it's a mess, yet I can't stop the laugher from bubbling up in my throat.
