Nothing. :look: Not trying to speed anything up. I just prefer to forgetaboutit and let it surprise me about ten years from now when I get to BSL. :look:

bought a bottle of msm capsules from walmart a couple days ago. i'm gonna take one a day and see if it can speed mine up or at least strengthen it :drunk:

I'm taking iron pills for low blood which has also increased my hair growth to the norm .5 a month when before I was getting .25 a month.

I am taking hair vitamins, and I'm going to "try" and lay off of the flat iron for about 2 months. :ohwell:

When we drink alcohol our bodies dehydrate greatly and blood circulation slows down. - Dr. Oz

The only thing you should be drinking, according to him, is Italian red wine 2x a week.

Yep. Thanks for answering! Also, since alcohol is a toxin, overconsumption just messes up your health overall, which is hindering to hair growth. It's not just for my hair.

Oh...but when I mean cut back I mean 1-2x a week instead of 4... :look:

Bettering my diet, drinking more water, taking my vitamins daily, and working out. My hair growth has slowed down because I haven't been taking care of myself so I'm working to change that. Other that I focus on retaining by keeping my hair braided up and under a wig. Out of sight out of mind. :)

I take multivitamins, hair supplements, and Omega 369. I also drink 2 glasses of veggie smoothies daily (this is primarily for health reasons but I love that it helps my hair as well). I'm also focusing on retention by cowashing, little to no manipulation meaning that if my hair isn't under a wig, then i'm rollersetting. I also do weekly overnight oil treatments, I DC weekly and I moisturize and seal with coconut oil as needed.

One thing i'd like to reduce is reduce my dependency on combs. Rollersetting helps me do this because simply finger comb and tuck my hair into a silk bonnet.

just drinking more water and eating better. I know I need to exercise (not just for hair) but it's hard to push myself to do it.

Can't give up my drinks :look: so I'm using sulfur and taking vitamins.

Alcohol hinders growth?? I mean, it makes sense, but... Well nevermind. I'm exercising 4x per week. Training for boxing so a lot of cardio stuff. Drinking water. Eating more fruit. Taking hsn multivitamins. I don't know if it's helping since I just started taking the vitamins yesterday and I've only been training for a few weeks. I'll see how it goes.

Since someone mentioned alcohol I guess sugar would harm hair growth as well. I read that sugar causes your depletes the b vitmains the body ad those b vitamins are vital for hair health.

I try not to just focus on the hair because alcohol and sweets/junk food make me break out and gain weight. If my hair gets better that's a plus!

I don't believe in external growth aids.

This used to be me to a T. I didn't (and still don't) even take OTC medication. That is, until Miss NJoy posted her progress pics

Now, I apply a sulfur/oil mix to my scalp every other night. Other than that, I work out 5x/week, try to eat right, take a daily multi-vitamin, and keep my hair moisturized in protective styles 90% of the time. So far, so good.

I just started Nioxxin (multivitamin only)...I'm gonna give it a 3 month trial run and see if i get over an inch/month.

As of Jan. 2009 nothing and have retain more growth, and overall health in my hair without them.

I am Wigging it up. Taking Andrew Lessman Hair/Skin/Nails Vitamin.

I've been using Hydratherma Naturals as my Daily Treatment to Moisturize & Seal for about 1-2 Months.

Plan to use HTN exclusively through June.

Bought some hair, skin and nail vitamin's a couple of months ago - haven't been taking them as instructed but I take one a day Mon - Fri....There obviously haven't been any drastic progress but there has been some noticible progress. So much to the point where the next bottle I get will be taken as instructed...

I'm exercising 4x-5x a week (not really for growth), taking a Multi (high in biotin), MSM, Bamboo Silica, & Gelatin.
