Also, keep in mind that your personal style should also reflect your side-shaved head if you want to pull it off properly.

If you do decide to keep that part shaved keep it covered maybe 2 weeks, then the hair will grow in a bit and look better... and yeah, make it bigger if that's the case. Otherwise, get you some headbands and let it grow back.
