Thick and coarse strands here
One thing I use to hate was getting extensions because I would always need so much hair and ended up looking like cousin it
. Nobody else needed 7-8 packs of hair for pixie braids but I did. So much hair I couldn't even wear them in a ponytail...
^I never knew just how thick my hair was until I went natural, Now I can see why I needed so many packs of hair and looked foolish....
there were times where I complained about how thick my hair was....I wanted thinner hair but now I have learned to embrace my hair. It is a big hassle to detangle and style, it can take 6-8 hours or more on some days
but I know I would be upset if my hair ever got thinner...I really do enjoy the fullness...
Coarse hair strands....I use to hate those too....but now I love my thick hair strands...I have learned that these thick hair strands are very durable and it takes a whole lot for them to break...the biggest challenge is keeping them moisturized though....it is a battle between, is that my texture, or is my hair dry....I always use to confuse the two...
