The owner/writer of Black Girl Long Hair doesn't have long hair. She uses her pics and experiences, just not so much, and has written about the title being aspirational(for her, and of course her featured interview subjects are at various stages of the journey, and some decide to switch it up and go back to short hair or relaxers too). If you go through the archives, you'll see her pic. She started off cutting her hair very short, which looked very nice on her, and then grew it out from there, but I don't think she's written about whether or not her goal is still long hair, or just to have natural and healthy hair.

She always voices her concern about the lack of black businesses in the black hair industry. She wants to be a part of the upcoming black entrepreneurs that will have a much greater stake in the black hair industry; especially with brand new focuses on natural hair. More and more women are going natural, so NOW is the time to focus energy in supporting the BC.
