Do you know of any that can be rinsed out no later than 10 mins with no heat?

It for an elderly relative who can not traipse up and down the stairs to heat condition hair nor, leave in for a long time. She needs something instant?

Any ideas?

I would suggest a heat cap, you can just plug it in, DC for 10 minutes and be done.

Does she need a hard, medium or light Protein rX?

Aphogee 2 min and Ultra Sheen Duo Tex are the only two I have personal experience with. The aphogee works for alot of people (not me) the DuoTex works for me and I just keep it on during my shower but you have to spray it on.

Ion has an Effective Protein Treatment that is pretty good w/o heat (you can get that at Sally).

And any Nexxus (Keraphix, Emergencee) Joico (K-Pak) etc....should also work pretty good for 10 minutes w/o heat.

I use Joico Deep Penetrating Reconstructor once a week for 10-15 minutes with no heat. Works like a charm.

Aphogee sounds like a good idea - thanks. Not quiet sure if I can get my hands on Ultra Sheen Duo.

Thanks Charz.

I should of added that the conditioning needs to be done in the Bathroom and there is no plug in sight. Also, its all the flaffing around she can't take so, if it can be done in the Bathroom, she'll be happy.

She probably needs a medium for now and then a light for maintenance.

Aubrey Organics GPB for light daily maintenance. I'll have to think about the other one.

ULTRASHEEN DUO TEX! don't think! just buy! and thank me later.

Yes ma'am! I was just coming in to suggest this. :yep:
$4.99 at Sally's for a BIG bottle that lasts ages. A spray bottle is best for application so pick that up while you're there!

Palmers DC Protein Pak. It works great, needs no heat.

TiGi Dumb Blonde Reconstructor is my fave.

Mizani Strengthening Gelee

Thanks a lot Ladies for the suggestions.

LOL, thanks Napp & Supergirl. I don't know if Ultra Sheen Duo Tex is sold over here. Lemme me contact Pak and Sally. If they have it, I'll thank you later Napp!

I really love ORS Replenishing Pak, but I leave it on for hours while I do chores and then rinse. Sometimes i think that's better than heat.

The best is Avedas damage remedy for me. My hair hates protein and yet, this never fails to make my hair both feel like butter AND reduce breakage. I love it.

...I don't love the price though. But its worth it imo. I was tired of trying different products

Where are you purchasing the Dudley's Hair Rebuilder from?

Certain independent beauty supply stores sell it even though I think it's for salons only. :look: ($13.99 for an 8 oz. bottle). You can also get it from Amazon.com or BeautyofNewYork.com. I think the price is about $17-$18, but don't let that scare you away. It's more than worth every penny. It smooths, strengthens, and gives your hair elasticity.
-Here are the ingredients: deionized water, stearlakonium chloride, hydrolyzed animal protein, glycerol stearate, emulsifying wax-N.R., propylene glycol, panthenol, methylparaben, quaternium-15, propylparaben, fragrance, hydrolyzed keratin protein, nucleic acid, biotin.

It claims to rebuild badly damaged hair, moisturize, soften, reduce static, detangle, and build body (no limp hair ). I'm not sure why or how, but it does exactly all of the above for me ... without fail.

One of my staples is definitely Aphogee 2 minute reconstructer. My hair::love:protein and this is so quick....I just put it on while shaving in the shower and Voila!! Great results...

Thanks for posting the ingredients! i searched earlier and could npt find them! I'm going to try it b/c aphogee 2 min recon and ors professional replenshing con is not working. I'm too scared to try aphogee 2 step!

If you don't need a heavy protein I agree that Aphogee 2 min works well. I also like Joico products for protein.

I agree with the bold. I use it w/o heat but the only issue with this, if one's a stickler for directions like me, you have to shampoo, use it for ten minutes, then shampoo again with a moisturizing shampoo (Therappe is what is recommended) then condition with a moisturizing conditioner.

If she doesn't want all those steps, then I recommend using Aubrey Organics GPB. To DC, you apply it to dry hair and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then you rinse, shampoo, conditioner with moisturizing conditioner...finito. So less steps here. The DC step is like a prepoo.

I use both these products and haven't used heat with either since maybe 2007(?).
