OP - You just need a Good Protein treatment/ DC and a a trim.
OP, are you transitioning or is this from heat damage?
Yeah I was giving myself till April to cut them all the way off but I just keep chipping away at them like a mad womanThey were waaaaaaaay longer than they are now, I just don't want it to be too uneven.
How long have you been transitioning?
I BC'd after 10 months. It was the LONGEST 10 months of my life! Transitioning is not for the faint of heart. Kudos to whoever can keep going after 12 months of 2 textures at war.You should cut it when you're ready.
Your commentary and title had me laughing out loudI'm sorry you're sad though...
I like your hair! It's big and gorgeous!I'd try some knot/twist/braid outs until the time came to trim (if I could get it to blend and it wasn't breaking.) Have you tried protein? If you wear it in a curly state a majority of the time, it's pretty forgiving in regards to an uneven trim.
I'm DC right now...I've been trying to grow out the heat damaged portion of my hair, If I trim it now I will have a mullet fro =(
Okay, so I have a "mullet fro". Before I decided to go natural while I was still transitioning (ie, I just up and decided I didn't want a relaxer anymore...I was so uneducated) I decided to get a cut I was always to shy to get, one that was longer in the front and asymetrical, with the back being shorter. I guess I thought this was a good idea thinking id just BC later...yeah...worst idea of my life. Anywho, I have trouble getting length in the back because its where I lay my head when I sleep. I combat it by wearing my hair in a puff (you can't tell its shorter back there), and twist outs actually look cuter with my "mullet fro" because its longer in the front (face framing) and the twists make it curl in the back where its different lenghts. Bantu knot outs are even cuter when your hair is longer in the front than in the back. So if I were you id just cut off the permed hair and start trying something
