I'd die for your thickness!
With a little one, it's best to do some simple style and KIM. You twists are a perfect mommy-do.

Your progress is great! Do you think you had an extra spurt due to the pregnancy hormones and vitamins? I know my hair was super long after both of my pregnancies. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to take care of it so I cut a lot after both were born.

Beautiful twists! I can't wait until my twists are that long. How long do they last?

They will usually last a month or more. If I tie them down when I'm at home and wear them in a way that they aren't flopping around, they tend to do better.

Your hair is beautiful! I am in love with your bun!! So full and luscious! What products do you use when you twist?

Pretty much any butter or cream. I stick to mostly natural ingredients. This time I used Darcy's Botanicals Madagascar Vanilla Cream, but I also like JC Nourish and Shine as well as Fleurzty's Hair butter.

Hmm, I don't think it grew any faster, but it did get a little bit thicker. I just didn't shed a whole lot while I was pg. I've also always taken prenatals so that may be why I didn't notice any extra growth(?)

I've been reading about postpartum shedding and the 2 month mark is a common time for it to start happening, so I'm kind of waiting to see what happens.

Thanks ladies, ya'll are very kind. Since I went natural I've wanted to have twists down my back. Not quite there yet, but getting close :)

I didn't notice the shedding with DD1 but with DD2 I lost hair around my temples. I didn't notice it until someone took a picture of me. It looked like I had extra babyhairs. Are you nursing? I think my worst shedding happened when I stopped nursing.

Gorgeous twists! You're hair grew a lot!
And that's why it's so important for us to take pics....so we can see the growth when we're feeling like it hasn't grown.

your twists are just gorgeous! I can't wait until my hair gets like that. Thanks for the pics

Great progress! I love your twist! I need tips on the best ways to do them, I always try to do it on wet/damp hair I guess that where I go wrong. I'll try it on air dried banded hair and hopefully I'll get resuts like yours. HHJ
