Erm... No. Her hair was perfect before .. Now it looks wispy. Was she laughing in shock at the end .. Then he slapped her shoulder or am I seeing things?

The only time I ever used a razor comb on clients is when
-they wanted their ends to look softer and less blunt ( which is rare)
-If they wanted to remove bulk.
- Or they desire a very short haircut

The client had no type of bulk to her hair and I personally wouldn't use a razor comb on textured hair. IMO, Her bangs and ends look very thin to now.

That's the fake smile I give people when i don't want to hurt their feelings!! She doesn't like that style and I don't either. Herhair looks thin and damaged now. It was perfect before.

:yep: This fellow is clueless. He took her hair from looking healthy and thick to looking like any other head of thin, broken-off relaxed hair. :nono:

I agree with the posters above! Her hair did not need "texture" as he put it. Maybe this is best on his white clients...but he left her hair looking bad. It looks like it is damaged and broken off. It looked thick and healthy before the cut. I would have been beyond pissed. I'm hoping it was just a weave or something. She would be a fool to let him to that to her real hair...:nono:

She's probably his assistant that he forced to do it. I liked the bangs initially but then I think he went too heavy on them. As for the rest of the hair, idk. I thought it looked too wispy. She has really shiny full hair. It looked really healthy and pretty.

I'd only use a razor comb on weaves. As far as real hair, I'd do it if the person was going for a cool edgier look. Which could have been what she was going for but they didn't style it that way in the end so I dunno.

I was cringing as he used those razors on her ends. Her previously lush hair became too-thin at the ends and lifeless. Not a good result.

All I can think is why???:shocked::shocked::shocked: ?????

Why would someone walk into a salon with a healthy head of swinging hair and pay someone to give them see through ends. They could just stay home and abuse their own hair and get that look. Blow dry on highest possible heat and flat iron dirty hair at 500 degrees and voila no need for the razor comb.

Good luck selling that comb to black folks.

I like it before also and this cut made her ends look thin and it reminds me of people who comb relaxer through thier hair.

That's a popular cut in Japan, I believe. I used to like a shaggy haircut and I was told by a stylist that you can't use a razor on dry hair...but I only ever get my hair cut dry, so I never tried it. I don't think this cut looks good on her, it more of an emo look.

I agree with you all. Her hair was very pretty before.

Was I the only one annoyed by his continued use of the phrase "textured hair"? His model had straight hair so I don't see what he was talking about. I think he would lose his mind if a chemical free curly sat down in front of him. Heck any curly for that matter (I didn't want to leave out my wave nuevo folks)

I had to go back and look at the end of the video. The first time I saw it I thought he might have been brushing off the hair on her shoulders. If indeed he was smacking her, she deserved it for letting him mess up her hair. I think I would like to smak her upside the head myself for good measure!

I let someone thin my hair out many years ago with thinning shears. She was a family friend stylist so I trusted her. She said I had too much hair/weight and it needed thinning. Never again would I consider such a suggestion. I was a teenager then and just simply didn't know any better.

I had someone use a razor on my hair. Terrible!! I mean it looks okay straight, but curly it looks a hot mess. I'm so glad that mess is growing back now but i still have pieces that are significantly shorter than the rest of my hair:sad:.

If someone described my hair as" heavy" I'd take that as a compliment. This was sad to watch, especially her reaction at the end.

this is sad but thanx for posting op! I never knew that "softning up" meant thinning out. :( I now know not to let anyone near my ends with a razor.

Sweet lawd, that was dreadful! She went from having full SL hair to wispy SL hair. A corrective cut will take her hair to her ears. I am sure she wept when she got home.
