I can see about 18 of those Pink Skala condish on the top shelf

The bolded scrares me....

It's one thing to buy lots of products, but you seem to have lots of the same stuff...I'm guessing you don't live with anyone who would rant and rave at you...or a cat that would look at you funny.
:lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

At least it's neat. Just my honest opinion, you don't need so many of the same product unless you sell the stuff - or - you have a family of 12 - or the store is like 300 miles/away. But hey if it works for you then ... who are we to judge. :)

Otoh if that's only part of the collection maybe you should host happy hair growing parties where people can come and buy or trade you stuff.

I kill bottles of Skala conditioner every month with oil rinsing, co-washing, daily swims in warm weather and ayurvedic treatments but ...

Hey ladies... BreeNique is TWO people... Brionna and Monique. They are cousins.

Monique, will Brionna be using some of these products that you have???

Trust me there is A LOT worse than that on this board. I've seen it for myself on that Skala thread alone!

As much as a PJ that I am I could never bulk buy purely because I would get so bored of using the same products. I have a number of products that are in heavy rotation - although I dunno this way could be a lot worse! :look:

op, though i have never been a pj i only have a any give time 2-3 condishes,1-2 bottles of poo, 1 leave-in/detangling product, and 1 hair gel/styling product.....i suggest selling the bulk of that on the forum....at least 3/4ths of your stash...chile you need 50% or more ownership in all these companies:nono:

The messed up part is, that I don't see nothing wrong. I am a PJ too maybe that's why I see nothing wrong. You just brought stuff that u like and a lot of it. I know some ladies on here that have tried Surge 14 wish that they did what you did because the company discontinued the product, that was actually helping people. I never got the chance cuz by the time I found out, Surge 14 was being sold on Ebay for $50 to $100 a bottle and it really was less than $20 bucks. I think ur smart. I also don't believe u want to sell or trade ur products, cuz if that was the case u wouldn't have brought so much, to me I think you feel or know these products work for u and ur type of hair. And I say grow ur hair the way u want, with what ever makes u happy. I feel the same way about MN/MT/OCT my next product is MTG be4 they jack up the price or discontinue it. HHG no matter what.

Wow! I couldn't mega stock like that. I have some anxiety about my products not getting used up. I'm weird like that. lol. My concern is the same as a lot of other ladies--your product may expire before you get to use it. I'm not sure of shampoo and conditioner's shelf life.

I don't know why everyone's acting so surprised; if this is her only collection then I've seen way worse in other threads around LHCF. :perplexed

I honestly don't, either. :ohwell: I would really need to see all of her products to go so far as to call her a hoarder or suggest she needs therapy. Anyone who watches that show knows that there's a distinct difference between having a lot of something you use in bulk, and flat-out hoarding. If there were dead cats, rat feces, and trash piled up as high as the shelf then I would give her the side-eye and kindly send her a PM with some information on hoarding.

I hope that the OP hasn't been scared off by some of these comments. I've never entered a thread where someone takes the time to post pictures of their products and people comment that they're hoarding or need help. :perplexed Wheretheydothatat? Or is this a new 2011 phenomenon? I took the title of the thread to be kind of a joke. I mean I'm not going to front like that's not a lot of stuff or that it's kind of... well... different that she has even more that she's not showing. :look: But it's not like she stole them from me, so who am I to judge? :ohwell:

I was throwed b/c I have never seen a stash quite like that before The ones I have seen have that amount of stuff but its more of a variety. This is like, 20 of the same item and its a lot of different items.

Is that the same thing?

Where's the pictures of Aggie's stash from 2 years ago???

ETA -
Check out Aggie's product stash. This is all from May 2008. There are 2 pages of pictures in Fotki.

:yep: This is exactly who I thought of when yall mentioned that yall have seen worse.

My friends and family outed me a long time ago andI have given away products as a result and I am anxious to get my stash down to just ONE basket.

It can take FOREVER to use up products, and it can be very wasteful.

  No, I don't think so (to the bolded). Actually, the picture reminded me of that couponing show on TLC; there's a thread in the ENT forum. When I first saw the show, I called them hoarders. But then I thought about it: they bought a bunch of stuff at steep discounts, and they usually used what they bought or purchased with the intention of giving away. They stored their things very, very neatly. When I think of hoarding, I think of buying and stashing in such a way that it becomes financially and mentally debilitating; there's a lot of shame associated with it and the effects are deleterious to all involved in the hoarder's life. The living areas are filthy and potentially hazardous to one's health. Mind you, this is what I gathered from watching the Hoarders on A&E and Hoarding, Buried Alive on TLC, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt.

Now, if sista souljah came in and told us that she didn't pay rent because she didn't have enough money after buying these things, then I would think it was a problem. I mean yeah, it's definitely disconcerting to see a ton of the same stuff on a shelf and the shelf almost about to buckle under the weight of the products, but I don't know... I just wouldn't call that hoarding unless she took a picture of her whole room and it looked like a pigsty, you feel me?
