I'm sitting here watching the show hoarders: buried alive... and I was quite embarrassed. I share many of their compulsions (to buy!!!!)
I also buy multiples of the same things.. over & over & over
Almost ensuring to never run out

they mentioned this one lady owns 60 shampoos that may last her 16 yrs (i own over 60 conditioners easily).

I don't think they would last me 16 yrs (idk) ... but

just two and that's only because i was loc'ed for a while, so i didn't need conditioner. i have one for DC and Cowash. but i really like how they work, so i might stick with them for awhile.

Hmmm... I own 2 well 3 if you count WEN, but I consider that to be more of a cleanser... Now shoes on the other hand...

I have 15 packs of CON argan oil
And two jars of silk elements megasilk with olive oil. 3 family size bottles of hehh and 4 bottle of aussie most deep. When ever these things go on sale I buy them.

I currently own about 15. Much of it was bought when I first bc'd, but ended up finding a few I just love and the others fell by the wayside. I think the ones I use now are my staples that I don't want to run out of, so I always buy couple when I go shopping because for some strange reason I think I'll run out.

I own 8 but most were bought in 2008 and 2009 at the height of my PJism. My stash is down from 30-40 so I'm making progress. I eventually want my number to go down to 3-4 staples.

I fell in love with Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner and went to 3 different CVS to buy as many as I could find when they were on sale (6). So I use those for cowashes. Then I found a liter size of Giovanni's 50/50 at TJ Max for only $12 so now I use that for detangling. I also have 2 Cantu Leave Ins and 2 KinkyCurly Leave ins but I'm not sure if leave ins count

I own 9. I am based in Congo right now and it is not easy to find stuff. I am kind of paranoid to run out and I started my HHJ 8 months ago- so I guess I am still subject to the PJism of the begginner- So whenever I travel to Europe or I can order online, I do so.

I voted less than 5. For years I've only used CON conditioners. I have CON mositurzing & reconstructor conditioner, TRESemme Naturals conditioner, with aloe vera, and Mane & Tail. I recently brought the TRESemee when I discoverd that I was running low on my CON and since the new formula isn't the same, I wanted to try to find something before I was completely out. AND I LOVE IT. It makes my hair super soft, I can detangle with my fingers and it has a great smell!

i have so many, that i can't wait for the next DC/MD/VA meetup so I can have the stash towed to the event. I'm giving the stuff away. I DESPISE clutter in my house. It's a shame, but what can i say. i'll try something one time and if i don't like it, it goes in the "graveyard". i've narrowed down my regi to one line so i'm a happy camper.

someone is going to be elated when i have that stash towed in lololol..... and it's not just conditioner. it's a mixture of things for the hair/body.

I got so much I'm not going into the bathroom and count. I'm not a hoarder....... I'm just wearing the hoarder uniform.

I just went to Kroger and stocked up on VO5 cause it was 77 cents.

I agree with you.. Since the transition I have a lot.. If there is a 8oz bottle I'm using I usually use half of that bottle on my NG to make sure that it will help me to detangle.. If something is on sale I do buy more than one.. But now the amount I have will go down since I have the staple conditioners now for co-wash and pre-poo and DC.. I just plan to use up the ones I have one and just use my staples after that.

I went to my bathroom... counted my rinse out conditioners and voted. I saw the results that indicate I may be a hoarder compared to the other voters... and I literally started to panic.... I scrolled to the top of the poll praying "Lord please let this be an anonymous poll." My mind is at ease now.

I think I need to work on my compulsion to buy stuff. This is an eye opener.
