Has the Hi-top fade come back?

I've seen this young guy (maybe 17 years old) sporting a hi-top fade, and it left me feeling absolutely lost. Did I miss the memo or something?erplexed Has the hi-top fade come back? Or is this young gentle soul just making a personal statement all by himself?

This guy who I went to middle school with had a high top fade and he got clowned constantly... and for good reason in my opinion....
I was in MS from 2000-2002, so the high top fade was definitely not old enough yet to be making a comeback/personal statement then.
It's been like 20 years since the 90s, so I guess it's time for the fad to come back around but I'm praying it doesn't catch on.

Hmmmm, I like them-only listened to this song a few minutes ago. I think I'm gonna get some "Poetic Justice" braids, blue jean skirt, and a retrobrick phone.

There's a crew around me that probably watched Fresh, KIdnPlay, Juice and New Jack City about a hundred times. Their teens but dress straight 80s-90s. One has the coolest Gumby with the bleached tips.

I love the 80's too, so I guess I'm being a hypocrite, because I definitely do walk around with oversized slouch tops, leggings, vintage peplum and fringe dresses, and even some acid wash (don't judge me! lol) and I do bust out the side-puff every now and then. Most of my style does revolve around 60s-80s vintage.
But still.... As much as I love the 80's, they can miss me with that high top fade. Lol.

funny - I saw one the other day and swore I saw an illusion.
High top fades were so cool. I was in love with a guy who had the nicest curly high top. I think the guys who wore them back then are all bald.

I have noticed that the 80's fad is back ESPECIALLY among HS students. My sister (16) is in love with different colored acid wash jeans, oversized, off the shoulder tops/hoodies and large bows... I dont really care if high schoolers are doing it, I just hope thats where it stays - at high school. I can't imagine some grown @$$ man walking around with a high top fade looking like marge simpson.
