what are you sealing with? are u sealing at all? how often do u use it? whats ur favorite? i heard rave reviews about avacado butter but im learning not to jump on bandwagons and get all the info and make a informative decision.
 
I used Pure Avacado Butter Last Year (Fall/Winter) and I really loved it. The Texture and the Results. It was a very, very nice Natural Butter.:lick:

This Fall/Winter I plan to use something different. More than Likely I'll be using:

KBB Hair Butter
Njoi Ayurdevic Hair Butter
Qhemet BRBC & AOHC
Bee Mine Luscious
Beijaflores Hemp Hair Butter
Darcy Botanical Eucalyptus & Mint Hair Butter
Darcy Botanical Tumuca Butter
SSI Butter(s)
Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade
Elasta QP Mango Butter
My Honey Child Honey Hair Cream

I love shea butter ANYTHING!!

Right now i'm hooked on the Bee Mine Luscious and i seal that in with Jojoba oil....i did it two days ago after washing my hair....my hair was still moisturized today just as well as it was two days ago:yep:....i'm in LOVE with jojoba oil right now!:yep:

The top section of my hair is 3c, maybe some 4a, transitioning, with a mix of coarse & medium strands, some cottony, some wiry. It always had a dry-ish appearance & feel until I found Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream :love3:

It really softens, moisturizes, smooths, and stretches my hair (I usually wear stretched airdryed styles like in my avi). I only need a small dab once after washing, then I moisturize with water & seal w/ EVCO until the next wash.

It has sulfur, which I hear is good for growth. I try to get a little on my scalp. Dunno if it's working, but can't hurt...

And I love the smell! It's a light lemony-vanilla buttercake. :lick:
 
my staple butters are:

shea butter
peaceloveandsunshine sunshine and coconut confidence
kbb hair cream(i love this but it will not be a repurchase. also i only use it during the warmer weather)
oyin burnt sugar pomade(i use this more as a sealant than on its own)
 
For raw Butters, I love mango butter. I have a love hate for shea, but I have so freaking much of it (I'z a bandwagoner) I will be whipping it with coco/Castor/grape seed oils during the winter to use it up.

I don't like almond butter, it is always grainy.

I LOVE AOHC and BRBC - BRBC more cuz my strands are fine. I also love oyin burnt sugar pomade.

I tried a little the other night and it's very moisturizing:lick: And I like the consistency (and the smell...altho' a little on the 'sweet side') If you love the Luscious....you'll like this!:yep: It is very, very moisturizing.

And it's only $10 Bucks a Jar (although there is shipping):rolleyes:

I MUST HAVE THIS!!!!!:spinning::spinning:....will be trying it this fall/winter...although i may be stuck eith Luscious forever....i only use a dot per section and that jar is FILLED to the brim with product when its shipped to you!!:yep::yep::yep:...i love that SO much!!!
 
I prefer water-based creamy leave ins as moisturizers so I use butters as sealants. I dont have a "holy grail" butter yet, except SSI Seyani butter which is for my ends only, but currently Im experimenting with:

Afroveda Hempseed butter
MyHoneyChild Type 4 Hair cream
Nature's Brew Hair butter
 
i think im gonna try the avacado butter first cuz im on a natural kick (raw food diet starts thursday!!) anywho and seal with castor oil then jojoba oil then EVOO too see which one works best :-)

Ya'll I got a Feeling, I will be repurchasing this Butter once I try it out!

So far, I love all of Christine Gant's Products. To Me, the Mixed Greens is also Awesome:grin:
