I love Caruso rollers, so much so that I bought another unit on two occassions when they would stop working (keep your recepts and warranty papers). I would use them on my relaxed hair to add body and curl once my hair had gotten old/flat. Its almost like an instant roller set. I am transitioning now and have not used them on my natural hair yet.

Luv, Luv. Luv them. One of the best purchases I've ever made. I ordered more medium size rollers cause you only get 6 but worth the money definitely

Recently bought them because of this forum and LOVE them, they work so well and best of all they're good for the hair. I like the thought that making my hair look good is also giving it something it needs (steam = moisture) my hair is currently short so the unit as is works well but when your hair gets longer you may have to order more large or jumbo rollers.

Love them!! I hate rolling my hair, it takes to much time with the reg rollers. These I love and use every week. They have helped me to stay away from my flat iron and I can have curls in less than 5 minutes after rolling them.

I love them. But I will say that Caruso's are prone to breaking. I've had 3-4 sets in last two years.

My hair in my avi was done with Caruso rollers.

I hated them. I have relaxed her. I blowdryed my hair. Hair was silky before putting in rollers. The moist heat from the rollers basically acted like humidity....my hair reverted and was a little puffy. Not curled and silky looking like a regular roller set.

I had the same experience as Comike. However, I only tried them once. My hair barely curled and frizzed up. Perhaps practice would have made perfect. I say go ahead and order them. They might actually work for you. If not return them.

you know, this is one thing that i never actually tried but then again, my hair is super thick-i'm still doubtful that it would do much. please post pics when you get yours (you already know you're going to buy some lol)

Hi HairTemptress, I love my caruso roller set! It is definitely worth buying. Although you do have to be careful and not let the roller steam for more than 10 seconds. My hair feels very soft and moisturized after. I also have lots of body. I think it's worth purchasing.

I LOVE THEM. The first time I fell in love. Check out my photo album for how my hair looked after using them. A couple of the curls cam out frizzy on the very ends so I wrap the ends a little tighter than the rest of the hair, this has given my great results. I dont use anything on my hair before curling to ensure my hair is getting all the benefits of the steam.

This is the post that I referred to the when I was just starting out.

Love....love....love-love-love :lick:

I apply conditioner mixed with EVOO on the ends and roll those ends. Beautiful results!

This is true, that is why I only do them on air dried hair. Or on old hair, as in I flat ironed it earlier in the week, and now I want to do something different. It usually doesn't get puffy then.

I loved them once I finally figured out how to make them work for me.

When I first started using them, my ends would always come out frizzy (even after letting the roller fully dry). It would make me frustrated until I read about people using a serum on the ends with end papers. That made a world of a difference.

If the ladies in the thread aren't willing to part with their set just yet, I suggest starting a thread in the product exchange forum stating that you you're looking for a Caruso set. You may get them cheaper or for free. A generous member shipped her set to me for the cost of shipping and handling.

Also, check out ebay. They have bids on Carusos all the time.

I have nothing to add.. except... I'm sooooo mad that I sold my set years ago when they came out... I had no idea what to use it for (I got it free) -I thought they were just for white womens hair-dummy me! Now that I'm natural.. my hair LOVES steam :nono:

I LOVE THEM TOO! And agree with the above about not steaming for more than 10 seconds. 10 seconds seems to be just right for me to get a smooth, non frizzy curl

I love them. The first few times I couldn't get it right. My ends were frizzy even with the end papers. This time I put a little coconut oil on the ends and rolled with end papers and it made all the difference in the world.

I love them! I'm relaxed and I've used them on blow-dried hair and gotten beautiful results. I only let the roller sit on the steamer for 10 seconds max, when I let it sit longer it gets too wet and my ends frizz badly. I don't use end papers or any oil, but experiment and find out what works best for you. HTH

I love them, although I have not used them in years. I'm natural and believe the steam would make my flat ironed hair revert.
