Yeah I know sounds like I've had a bad day, I haven't.
Sorry girls, guys if there are any...
Don't mean to cause any disruption, it's just that if you are relaxed, natural or (any chemical process inc.) just do you. Why concern yourself with others, geez.
I'm kind of tired of people trying to be slick and taming relaxed heads, while making themselves look good.
I really could care less what others do with their hair, even the BKT, so long as you dont mess with my swagger.

Old post huh...

I am natural and for me it is a lot easier doing my natural hair. I would get relaxers 2-3 times a year and because the who purpose of a relaxer is to have straight hair I would try to wear it straight. But, it would always frizz up and try to go back to it's natural state and I still did wash-n-go's. I tried all different types of products and nothing worked. Eventually, I got fed up with paying $90 for a wash/trim/style and being in the salon for half a day and just stopped going. I didn't have anyone close to me getting relaxers so I didn't know anything about transitioning. I just used a flat iron on my new growth or wore it curly like I did when I had relaxers anyway. I am blessed because I transitioned without any problems (breakage or damaged hair) and never did a BC. But, now that I've joined a couple forums and hear some of the stories of people transitioning I understand why some people are hesitant.

BKT's r WHACK!
Bad for the body..
Bad for the environment (aldehydes')
but we can't stop due to the undue new craze...

Stop tryin to humiliate those who make the conscious choice of relaxing thier hair. Your a hypocrite!

... all-righty-then....say what's really on your mind chica! :giggle:

What do you mean? How long did you transition?

I want to go natural but I don't want to BC. I think once I hit my ultimate length goal with relaxed hair I will transition and slowly cut off the relaxed ends. And I don't plan on being a little old lady getting relaxer touch ups.

These old threads are kinda interesting cause a lot of the women who said "maybe" or "no" are now natural :giggle: I guess it's one of those "only time will tell" type things.
