Ok my heart is beating very quickly now because I'm going to do this myself. My S/O said he would do it for me but I don't really trust him to cut at the line of demarcation... (if he even knows what that is). He's keeps his head bald but he says he knows how to cut...*eh*
I'm 6 months post. I was going to go to 12 months but I feel like the relaxed hair really makes no sense to keep.

Anyways he's working and I want it cut NOW NOW..... *wooosssssaaaahhh*

First pic is right after the cut... it has conditioner in it but doesn't look so :lol
Second pic... I brushed it back a lil bit
Third pic is just texture shot

So question to the ladies who BC'd themselves...

Would it be easier or better to chop dry hair or wet hair?

Based on info from others that BC'ed themselves, slathering conditioner on your hair should make it much easier to tell the natural from the relaxed hair. Your natural hair should curl up and the relaxed ends should stay straight.

Good Luck!!!

good luck girl... i know it will come out great!!!

I second this. I BC'd on my own a little over a month ago and wetting my hair helped me to catch those relaxed ends that I missed when I cut dry.

Good luck! Not that you need it...you're a beatiful girl and will be fabulous with your new cut :wink2:

CUT IT, CUT IT, CUT IT!! YOU WILL FEEL SO FREE, DO IT!! MAKE SURE YOU WET YOUR HAIR PUT CONDITIONER AND THEN SNIP, SNIP, SNIP! I CANT WAIT TO SEE PICS!!:grin:
