Hit-African Shea Butter soap for my face. I love this stuff, it's clearing up old acne scars and cleanses without stripping.

Miss- NTM Mask, it tangled my hair something awful.

Hit:Sexy hair Pumpkin Conditioner & Professional Brand Matrix Deep Replenshing Conditioner.

Hmm...slow in here. What yall been doing? I got a couple.

HITS:

-Bee Mine Luscious Hair Moisturizer...I've been looking for a true moisturizer for a while. One that actually contained water. I tried it on 5 month post hair and freshly relaxed hair and it works well. I use it on my dry hair. Smells VERY good. Not too greasy and not too wet either that it would harm my hairstyle. I use it nearly every day.

-Creme Of Nature Shampoo-RED Label....Figures I'd like a shampoo that's discontinued. Found this hidden under my sink. Really like it. Doesn't strip, yet hair feels clean.

-HairVeda Sitrinillah Hair Mask/Conditioner...Been searching for a decent moisturizing conditioner for a while so I wont be so dependent on my ORS Replenishing. On freshly relaxed hair its great. The real test will show as I stretch.

Smells GREAT. I make sure I saturate my ends with it and I can tell the difference in my strands as I rollerset.

-Revisited Hit/Coconut Oil...I swear I need to just give away all my hair greases and just use my concoction of Coconut oil spiked with JBCO, tea tree, peppermint, & rosemary oil. I've been using this like a hair grease and to seal. So it helps dandruff, its not heavy on scalp and the SHINE!

-Herbal Hair Rinses...Purchased these from http://www.localharvest.org/herbal-hair-rinse-C6366 Had some for a while but I wasnt consistent. Now I make it a point to boil some water and make an herbal rinse with a few drops of rosemary oil in the jar and rinse my hair with it. Rub in scalp and let the herbs do the work.

MISS:

-Njoi Creations Hair Grease w/ Sulfur...Just too heavy to use on my scalp. Seems like it'd be a good product but I can only use this on my little bald spot. Otherwise it weighs my hair down. Even too heavy to seal with.

HITS:

Darcy's Botanicals Coconut & Lemongrass Transitioning Hair Cream *No....I am not transitioning,:look: but it works extremely well on freshly relaxed hair.:lick:

This one's a keeper! And will come in quite handy at 8/9+ weeks post. Alot 'lighter than KBB Hair Milk, yet works extremely well. Nice Product!

CONTINUED HIT(S):

Mozeke Avacado Whipped Hair Cream
Mozeke Coconut Kokum Hair Milk
Hairveda Sitrinillah Deep Conditioner
Afroveda Ashlii Amla Deep Conditioner

MISS
ORS Replenishing Pak: i didn't like this. as soon as i put it on my hair, my hair got really stiff and seemed stuck together and dry. it offered me no slip at all! the only good thing about this is the great citrusy smell. i tried this before but i won't be trying it again. ♥

HIT: Bee Mine Luscious Hair Moisturizer

This might become my staple. I love the way my hair feels after putting it on, very silky and moisturized.

RE-VISITED HIT: Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil

This has been working really well for sealing this summer.

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Split End Mender: I haven't noticed my split ends much since using this product. It makes my ends incredibly smoother. Plus it smells good :D I will be purchasing this again :yep:

Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In: OMG where has this product been all my life?! I use this on damp hair after every wash. My hair is soooooooo soft when it's dried. Definitely a keeper :yep: Actually... I think I'll be using this as my staple leave-in. Bye bye to HE LTR Leave-in and NTM Silk Touch Leave-In. This is way better for my hair.

Former Miss, now a Hit
Shescentit Super Soft Honey Conditioning Rinse: I think what made the difference between tonight and the last time I used this rinse was clarifying. When I tried it initially, my hair was matted, tangled, dry, you name it. Tonight, however, I shampooed with Aussie Moist shampoo, did a protein treatment with Nexxus Emergencee, and then applied the rinse and left it on while I showered. When I rinsed, my hair felt like butta! :lick: I was shocked because Emergencee is a hard protein and nothing I've used after it has made my hair soooo soft. KEEPER!

Hit: Lustrasilk Organic cholesterol (The one with argan oil). Not all of it is natural but I really don't care it works amazing. Ultra moisturizing, smells great.

Hit:
Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer I'm glad I revisited it because it works pretty good now

HIT and new staple product for me: Shescentit Moisture Mist Leave In Conditioner
Words just can't even explain. I've been looking for a moisture-based spray leave-in for my hair since last year. I've tried my own concoctions, Biolage Matrix Daily Leave-in Tonic, Qhemet Biologics Karkady Tea Replenishing Mist, etc. I used this for the first time after co-washing last night on almost 20 week post hair, my hair and NG airdried SOOOOO softly which blew me away. If this product can handle my hair at this state, I know it's a keeper.

I just ordered the Coco Creme Leave-In Conditioner in hopes that it will replace my HE LTR. Hopefully I'll be reporting back with another HIT review.

Taaliah Waajid products :love2:
Hemp seed oil
Rice bran oil

New Hits:

Wheat Germ oil - Smells like a bear, but it made my hair so soft and shiny.
Vaseline + hemp seed oil "grease" great for sealing my ends.
AO Island Naturals as a leave-in on my relaxed ends.

HIT:
afroveda

  • cocolatte
  • sheaamla whipped butter
  • curl define
  • pur whipped gelly

smells awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee and makes my hair uber soft and defined

Miss:

Vo5 Clarifying conditioner. Bought it because of the smell, doesn't really do anything for my hair. Other 1-2$ conditioners can preform better.

Aphogee pro-vitamin leave in, tried a million times to make it work. No matter the amount of moisture just leave hair dry. Hair never really felt stronger either.

Semi- Miss: Elasta Mango butter moisturizer, I stop using it a long time ago but finished it. Its ok, just to proteiny for every day use.

Skala Ceramide Conditioner-used as co wash and my hair likes it,I will try the mask next.

Revisited Hit
Revlon Porosity Control Conditoner-My hair prefers this brand over Roux, leaves a much smoother finish with more moisture.

I actually started using these in June and after a couple of times using them, I can confidently declare them a "Miss":

KBB Luscious Locks Hair Masque :nono:
Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment :nono:

These two "deep conditioners" do absolutely nothing for my hair.

Aloe Vera Juice is a "Miss" too. I'll revisit it though.

Hits:

CURLS Pure Curls Clarifying Shampoo :yep:
Curly Hair Solutions SLIP Detangler :yep:
Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner w/ Aloe Vera & Avocado :lick:
Denman Brush to detangle :yep:

I have other "Hits" too but these are my July Hits .

Hit: Aussie Moist 3min Deep conditioner & Sexy Hair Pumpkin Conditioning Mask.

MISS

Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel- i just don't like it. it feels gummy on my hair, and when i use it to pull back my puff, it makes my hair straight, and i don't like that. it takes forever to revert like that. i also tried it on a wash and go to see what the fuss is about- don't like it. although its a very soft hold, my hair looked exactly the same as if i had done a regular wash and go with conditioner. i don't need this gel in my stash. its unimportant so i'm gonna pass. ♥

Hits:
Curl Junkie Coffee Coco Curl Cream
La Bella Lots of Curls Gel
Botanical Spirits Avocado Coconut Milk Hair Butter

Misses:
EO Chamomile & Lemon with HOney Conditioner
Afroveda Pur Whipped Gelly
Long Aid Activator Gel

HIT (new staple): Shescentit Coco Creme Leave-In Conditioner
This has replaced my HE LTR as my leave-in after co-washes/wash days. I know I'm late, but I am really impressed with this line. My hair dried utterly soft and I love the smell.

Bee Lovely Moisturizing Daily Conditioner as a co-wash
The verdict's still out on this one. I'm thinking my Tresemme Naturals might be better.

^^^ ooh i loved that conditioner the first time i was natural! i need to revisit that. i don't remember that one sucking at all. ♥

HIT: AOHSR mixed w/GVP Humectress (old formula), raw honey, EVOO :lick:

Miss: Diane Mesh Rollers :wallbash:

Little bits of the plastic mesh were all over the sink and in my hair. Also, the ends of the plastic mesh are not secured to the wire. Therefore, the ends of the mesh come out of the inside of the wire...if that makes sense.

Their going right back to the BSS and get the Annie brand.
