for short relaxed hair. I recently went back to relaxers, but my hair is pretty short and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do with my hair without using a flat iron everyday. Any suggestions?

Scrunching is when you add a curling product to the hair while wet and encourage the hair to curl by gathering it in the hands and squeezing it together. I would also try wet wrapping the hair and once its dry comb out the wrap and use a molding product to create a style. Try checking out some of Monica's styles and also Atlanta housewife Kandi.

It curls relaxed hair?

Do you have a molding product you reccomend?

Hey girl! I'll probably do an update in there tomorrow. I've been hiding b/c I've been down lately...I miss y'all though

I'm actually stumped lol. But I agree with scrunching with maybe a curling or waving product. Or mousse ,Herbal Essences Totally Twisted is a good one and maybe wearing a pretty headband to neaten the look....

I know you said no heat but I am of the opinion that steam heat is healthier (could be wrong). Check this thread out it may interest you and be something you could recreate somehow. :)

Hi everyone!

I just joined because of this thread. I've been a lurker for some while. Finally! Someone in the same boat as me! I have very short but natural hair. My hair type is between 2c-3c and if I comb it back straight and let it air-dry, it dries bone straight. I'm not a big fan of the way WNG look on me at the moment so what I do is lots of pins twists. I made a video on how to do this but never posted it on YouTube. I also wet wrap my hair and let it air dry then style and use flowers to "decorate" my hair. I am going to be posting and making a few tutorials on no heat styling short hair because there is nothing out there for us. Keep in touch with me. As soon as I figure out how to use everything in my profile, I will add the links to my videos. HTH.

When my hair short and relaxed I would wash, dc, apply an oil, then a mousse or setting lotion and wet wrap my hair. I would tie it down with a scarf and let it air dry.

When I combed down my hair would have a nice bump to it .
