Which is better for our hair?

I'm having a hard time finding distilled so is it OK to use Deionised water in my spray bottle?

For hair purposes, its about the same. Both are purified water, without minerals. Deionized water is water with the dissolved minerals removed by special filters, as opposed to being distilled (boiled into steam and then condensed back into liquid leaving the minerals behind).

I have'nt seen any distilled water anywhere and trust I've looked, I just stick with deionised water....... :afro:

Where are you finding deionised water in the UK? Also, I thought someone had said in the Ladies in Europe thread that we could find distilled water at petrol stations, I haven't looked though.

That was my mistake (and someone else said that too i think). I thought what i was buying was distilled - not looking at the label. All petrol stations and BSS's in the uk sell deionised. I remember back in the day all bottled water used to be labelled distilled.
