My Pibbs 514 fell and the visor cracked.

The same thing happened to me in January, but with mines the whole visor just popped off. I wanted to cry. I had to buy another dryer. Sorry to hear this.

I'm going to the actual Pibbs salon to get the part.

I don't THINK I have to get another dryer.... (!)
 
Welcome to the club. :( I don't think the dryer is work the price anyways. I replaced mines with a knock off a couple years later.
 
My visor is cracked too...:sad:. It's my toddler's fault though. I hope you are able to replace your visor inexpensively. I never replaced mine since I had purchased it quite a while ago and was certain there was no longer a warranty.

For now, it's all glued and taped up. It looks crazy but it still works. I love this dryer and my hair has never dried so quickly, but I still can't believe my DH paid that much for it.
 
My dd somehow accidentally broke visor while cleaning up. :( I had to purchase a visor last year from Imperial Sales phone listed below.

It sucks that the visor cracked but at least $30 isn't too steep.

I was afraid they were going to come back talking about $75-$80 to replace it.
 
I'm sitting here in shock. I have a full set of rollers on my head and carefully assembled my newly repaired Pibbs. Anywho, I did not fasten the hood on the stem deep enough. It fell off again and the visor cracked... AGAIN. I'm so flabbergasted. I have to go blow dry my hair now.... :(
 
As of today, this saga is over. Yesterday I picked up a replacement to the replacement (after being weeks on backorder) and I'm back in business!!!

2 months!!!
