So you're taking 3 a day? On the bottle it says to only take 1 a day. I wanted to take at least 2 a day, but when it comes to supplements like that, I follow directions and only take the recommended amounts. Is anyone else taking more than 1 a day on these?

I take two a day and got 1/4 in of growth in a week and half. I measured my hair after taking out my braids after I had straightened for a length check and then I measured it today natural and that's what I got.

I used Gueye vitamins and they did absolutely nothing but take away from my wallet. I have heard good things abot Nioxin so I may have to try.

I have been using Nioxin for 30 days now, taking 2/day. It has thickened my hair so much. I know pics would be nice, but I'm still in progress.

I just started taken nioxin about a month ago to see it would help get to apl. Well I made to apl but I'm not sure it was the reason I made it or the stress b complex, liquid iron, mtg, prenatals, protective styling or the the combination of all that made me make it. Right now I have stopped taking the prenatals & started taking 2 nioxin pills(one the morning & one @ night) to see any increase in growth.

Nope ur not alone. Honestly it kind of scares me. And the higher the price the likelier I am to have to stop eventually. I also understand we are what we eat so I rather try harder to eat healthier and take regular vitamins. The hair ones somewhat frighten me but I have taken 4 bottles of futurebiotics. I've seen some growth nothing amazing but for the price I think I could afford to continue them verses a higher priced one. I'm about to stop for a while and see what happens.

I guess this is my biggest hesitation when it comes to taking "internal" growth aids as opposed to the "external" stuff I use. I'm always thinking that if I stop taking the vitamins for whatever reason - medical or not - my hair would either stop growing, or worse, change course altogether.

In my simple mind, its easier for me to oil my scalp a few times a week, than to have to remember to take internal growth aids. *sigh*

I guess I am alone in this thinking....:wallbash::wallbash:

I started the Nioxin about two months ago and have good results. I still think it's too early to tell if it's all from the vits. I take two per day. I'll know after about three months.

I took Nioxin for 90 days to fill in areas that thinned after I had my baby. Those areas did not really fill in, but my nails grew like crazy. They were longer and stronger then they had ever been. I will buy more for my nails.
