I ask because every time I contemplate seeing a stylist or buying a product or applying a relaxer or just falling asleep and waking up in the morning it feels like I only have short, happy mediums for my hair.

I just bought a new recontructer from Loreal's line of sulphate free conditioners. I applied it last night and have been getting breakage though there was barely none before using it. I'm gonna cowash tomorrow. I was so frustrated tonight, rubbing my hands through my hair and getting strands leftover in the comb. This is especially hard after a 5.5 month stretch. My hair growth is so minimal plus I'm badly needing a good trim.

sorry to hear about the breakage.
I am a pj so sometimes I feel like I am foolishly trying new conditioners when I already know what my favorite ones are.

to me it's like a guessing game w/ being a pj. Some products you just don't know how it will until you use it. Sometimes, they work and other times they don't.

I am only 2 months post, and my ends are crap! They do not hold mosture good at all. No matter how many products I use. But I'm just glad that it's my relaxed ends that are troubling me not my NG. Sorry I could not help you withyour problem, but at least you know your not the only one.

Constantly! I wash it then for 2 days it looks healthy. On the 3rd day my hair always looks dry but it's oily to the touch. I don't think I'm overdoing the moisture (just once daily) because when I dont moisturize daily my hair looks dry, is dry and prone to breakage if touched.

Well, it's still disappointing. I'm almost APL but it needs to be trimmed at least an inch. You know how it is when you're shoulder length and you gotta trim. I feel like I'll be stuck here my whole life.

Who you telling?! I've been holding on two 8 scraggely ends that stretch past my bra strap just to feel like I can see some progress. I'm definitely going to have a good trim this weekend. I feel ya pain though - SL to APL is a difficult journey.

I feel like that sometimes just trying to figure out whether my hair wants more moisture or protein during any given moment (week, minute).

Swear...my hair is lucky I can't meet it on the street sometimes, I'd have some...things to say to it :boxing: :axehunter::whip:

are yall using products with a lot of cones in them? Just curious..

I'm using HE hydration. I just tried Loreal's Rosemary and Mint reconstructor. It left my hair hard and scraggly. That's really all. I cowash with the first.

Hahahaha I feel that way a lot sometimes I tell my hair to watch its back.

I have never had any success with Loreal products from back in the day. I wouldn't touch any of their products today even if they claimed they were all natural.

How did you cowash turn out? Did it bring your hair back to normal? Definitely do a DC this weekend.
