I would cut the relaxed ends off. Be careful about using a lot of heat to straighten your roots. You don't want to damage your gorgeous, natural curl pattern!
 
I'd be ready to snip the relaxed ends. Your natural hair is in great shape, you have a good amount of it and you'd still have the option of wearing it straight sometimes.
 
This is my first time using direct heat this year and will be my only time. When i have used heat in the past my reversion has usually be fine, so hopefully nothing will go wrong. Thanks for your suggestions

Sorry, when I was referring to heat and reversion I was talking about the weather. Because it's so hot outside, it can be a challenge for some naturals to keep their hair straight because the heat will it revert to it's natural texture quickly.
