I understand that her points don't have much of a point...but I don't think we should remark on her speech and mental capacity. Someone already pointed out that she has Crouzon Syndrome and this is explains it:

http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition=crouzon-syndrome

As someone who also has a genetic condition, I'll ask that my LHCF sistas please stick to what was said in the vid without commenting on the young lady's physical appearance or metal capacity. Thank you.

Thank you for posting this. She obviously has a difficult time expressing herself for legitimate reasons. I deleted my initial post but someone quoted me. I feel bad:sad:. I didn't say anything bad about her but I should have said nothing at all.

:perplexed I didn't realize there were people going around thinking that relaxing their hair would straighten all subsequent hair growth; I thought even the most ill-informed understood the purpose of retouches, even to a fault (hence the every-four-weeks relaxer to banish "nappy" new growth on sight :ohwell:). I wouldn't imagine there would be a need for a video explaining why a "permanent" isn't really permanent, but I guess in her experience (as indicated in Part 2) there is. Sad indeed...

I sent her a message yesterday regarding certain relaxer myths and she said I was wrong. I was also accused of not being black. My focus was on her point about exercise, showering and swimming causing reversion, and also transitioning to natural. She is back tracking now after receiving Youtuber feedback. It was ironic that she stated non-cosmetologist and non-blacks couldn't speak on the topic...yet she was misinformed and confused.

"Women cut all their hair off because they want to go natural, that is what they do. They don't cut all their hair off to get rid of the permanent"

wait.............................what???

R.O.T.F.L.M.B.A.O.

She's just a bit confused. My hair is so resistant to relaxers that it feels that way sometimes.

...some people actually do think that my hair is natural and I'm like...well...no...

OH NO!! HAS ANYONE INVITED HER TO THE LONG HAIR CARE FORUM YET?? WE ALL SHOULD DONATE A QUARTER TO RAISE 6.50 FOR HER TO BE ON HERE!! SHE NEEDS REAL HAIR ADVICE!! SOMEONE SAVE HER!!

I do not want her here if she is going to continue with her beliefs and not be open to logical thought.

my favorite part "if you don't know something don't say it"
my only comment is PAINFUL. so PAINFUL

:nono::nono::nono::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

I really need to stop clicking on some of these youtube links. I'm losing valuable brain cells from watching some of this madness.

hmm....that's a good point....

Thanks wasn't enough. :yep:

I couldn't laugh nor finish watching. I really think she's *special*.

I had to turn it off. I couldn't take the lip smacks. They made me want to stick ice picks in my ears. :look:

I just watched the video again (don't ask me why) and once again, I believe I lost a few brain cells :ohwell:. The lip-smacking was extremely annoying. I feel sorry for her and hopefully she'll educate herself about haircare before posting a video full of bad information. If you fast forward to the end, you'll notice that she actually has a pleasant smile.

ETA: I wish it would have been possible for my relaxed hair to become natural again. That way I wouldn't have had to go through the trouble of transitioning for a year and still having to chop the relaxed ends anyway.:ohwell:

Did she really say "you can't change your DNA...a permanent cannot change a black woman's genetic makeup"...I didn't know i was trying to relax my genes. She needs to stops using those big words before her brain explodes!
I didn't read this entire thread but I jus wanna know who in here ever got a retouch every 2 weeks? I stopped the video when she said that lol
-FLATLINED-

....See, I wasn't gonna say a word about this mess until she brought up that BS about MJ.... I don't feel bad for laughing anymore.... anyways *back to eating popcorn*

I think she was making the video for non-Black people. This is why she was trying to explain break it down. She just COMPLETELY missed the mark and I'd be willing to bet Black folks were the only one who have looked at this video...so it's really obvious & pointless to us...

Oh, and sistah girl said that chlorine will change relaxed hair as well...

I would just tell her: :badidea:

That's just my theory.

 I knew this was going to be good from the disclaimer: "If you're not black or a cosmetologist be quiet" :lachen:
