I honestly don't have much of a plan. I have learned to just do what my hair wants to do.

My friend did them for me using Jamaican Mango & Lime Locking Gel and Fantasia IV Styling Gel. Girl I attempted to do them myself last night, but I looked a hot mess...lol.

I've read that wax isn't a good thing to use.

Thank You! I've wanted locs for years though that was the true reason behind me going natural...I chickened out the first time b/c of work and went back to perms, but I have no excuses anymore and I'm in love with my hair (I think that's the first time I've ever said that).
