I have been getting MAD compliments on my hair lately and looks(mostly good). Especially when I put the flower on the side. This lady in the store asked me how I achieved my look today, she asked if I braided it. I told her yea. And I also told her I was natural and she said "Oh well sometimes you can't tell"

Most people that ask me about my hair are relaxed and I am thinking maybe because I don't have sick waves and I wear my hair stretched they can't see my texture in my hair. Plus with my damage I feel like I have a whole new head of hair. Ecostyler lays my edges down so good they look straight.Does my hair still look natural?

This was my hair today at the END of the day and after a long hot day in TX.

Thanks for the reassurace, I feel silly. I was really starting to think I did some terrible damage to my hair. My hair coils up like crazy when wet. I did a henna this past weekend and it looked like I had shingled with KCCC or ECO. But when stretched you can hardly see the texture of my hair.

She might have thought you were wearing a hairpiece or phony puff. It looks natural but some of the phony puffs look real too. That's probably why she asked if you were natural. Some people mean natural as in your real hair meaning not a wig or weave.

You look non-relaxed. I like your hair looks very good.

IDK what she thought all I know is a LOT of people with relaxed have been coming up to me talking about "how did you get your hair like that, I try and get mines to do that...."

Of course my hair had more definition in the daytime but by the end of the day it looked like the pics above.

Definitely looks natural to me & looks a lot like mine. I've never laid mine down like that. I'm not even sure if I could get it to wave up like yours. Your hair is really pretty. You mentioned damage, where is the damage?

Goody band like how everyone does their puffs. You know those headbands the young girls wear. I wrap it around my neck twice, it has to be fairly stretched, and then push it up. VOILA!

The damage you'd have to see up close. I have thin spots, and when I comb tons of hair comes out. When i stretch hair down It's not all one length it's all different lengths from breakage. It's cool I can wear my hair like this cause it helps me not think about it, but I can really tell in my twists, they frizz up faster due to the short hair. Plus my ends are prett rough and the SSK's are back. Most days i just want to cut but I am trying to be strong.

Your hair is lovely and fluffy, and undeniably natural. Some people are not used to seeing well moisturized and cared for hair, maybe they think it's a texturizer, I don't know. But your hair looks natural and gorgeous!!

Pretty hair, and yes you look natural. I get the most compliments/comments/questions on my hair from relaxed haired ladies as well. I guess, understandably, other naturals aren't as "in awe" when they see other natural hair.
