The winter weather is tearing up my natural hair. So I decided to do a protective style

I braided my hair today, but I got tired. So the middle of my hair is not done? the middle is hard to catch since it a little short the edges of my head. If I just leave my hair half braided and out in the middle...do you still think all my hair will retain length? Is this still a protective style if the braids are covering the middle?

I don't plan on bothering it other than when I mositurize or wash my hair. What do you ladies think?

You are basically doing everything that I would recommend. Moisture, Moisture and more Moisture. Thats the best weapon that you have against winter and a protective style.

you sound like me, it takes me awhile to finish, I just started really braiding mine because my edges were so thin
