I have the impression that in a couple of years we will see a few of our members/ former members appearing on tv shows cause their grown kids told on them. I can see the kids saying,:" Mom took protective styling to far and now her hair is down her ankles! " That is when the myth of us not being able to have long hair will be dead gone cause so many of us will appear on them makeover shows!
