Anyone ever run into or suspect someone to be a LHCF member?

I never thought of it before, but now.... Hum if I did think that I think I would ask. Since the term Nikko's cousin is new to me I would ask if they were a member of LHCF and if not .

It would be awesome if I had someone IRL to talk hair with, that goes on these boards.

I guess the more people you see and acknowledge you know the word is getting out there about proper hair care for AA hair. Power to the people!

there is one chick that works at the Sprint Store and she has hair between BSL and MBL relaxed. i always think she is a LHCFer because its sooo thick! so if thats you workin at Edgewater Village in Sprint, show yo self! and hook a sista up with a phone too.

anyway, i always wonder if people recognize me. it makes me nervous so i try not to leave the house lookin busted. just my luck, i'd probably meet someone while i'm running and lookin tow up and sweaty. ♥

I've ran into a couple and actually found out one of my cousins is a cousin She lurks, but hey Chica !! There's a girl @ church that I always talk hair with. She even mentioned seeing me on RBH before
Due to the fact that my hair color is so distinctive, whenever I get extended stares, I wonder if it's a board member. This chick in Walgreen's on campus said one day, "Oh, I love your Flexi8!" Yea, she belonged to somebody's board lol.

My DD was doing an internship and her co-worker was talking hair-speak LOL and my daughter would tell me about it and I was like, nah she HAS to be a hair forum member. I asked my DD to ask her if she was "Nikos cousin" and yep she was! I don't know if she still posts here, Hello if you do!! I never got to meet her though.

Last year I asked this young lady if she got her hair that pretty using curlformers. She yelled out "Nope, I bought it this way" so I embarrassed myself and probably her LOL So I won't do that again.

Ran into a cousin at the BSS when I first started my hair journey. She was helping another lady pick out products. I knew when I heard her tell the lady not to pick out products with mineral oil. She confirmed she was a member.

My receptionist who wears a wig, wore her hair out last week! When I complimented her, she siad "it was just a "WASH N GO"!

The average person does not even use that term....I'm afraid to mention LHCF becuase I told her about my meet-up groups that I organized and she told someone else. It was not a secret, but my co-workers don't need to know about my online life!

Well there is this one woman that I see on my way to work in the moring. She has MBL hair but she wears it up in a HW. I complimented on her hair and she started to talk about vatika oil and cowashing.........a bit too co-incidental but I'm afraid she'll look at me like I have a few freinds on here that are members but never post... ok wow, i am loving this thread , i have seen only a few black girls with long hair (real hair)..... and i wanted to asked them so many questions about their hair and ask if they were a member of any hair boards. next time im asking, and taking a picture with her and posting it on here , im serious..... most people love me so lol i doubt that my picture request will get turned down........ yes im that bold

oooooooh snapp! i just remembered a year ago i waned to try mn for my hair growth after lurking here (wasnt a member yet) and i went to family dollar to get the mn and the cashier said "alot of ladies have told me this works on hair" i was like "whattt!!!!" let my find out their lhcf'ers in atlantic city....

Hey we are sorta in the same area. I'm about 15 minutes south of you in Sayreville. I didn't know there was anyone in the area really either. Although, Piscataway isn't really "my area" but its close enough.

I swear one of my co-workers was a member, but I didn't want to ask. I like to maintain some sort of privacy, which is why I haven't posted any pics or attended any meetups. You just never know who is lurking.

The DC area seems like it has tons of members, not to mention lurkers. When I see people with nice and healthy hair I have to wonder. Also, when I go into Sally's and see certain products sold out (like Roux PC) all the time, I think to myself, "Those LHCF'ers!!" lol

a few times!! dh's friends girlfriend. we went to their house a few times and she had lhcf written all over her bathroom. S curl products, ORS, cream of nature, aphogee. everything was all out on shelves so i wasn't "snooping" lol. But the S curl definitely did it for me lol. In this day and age, S curl isn't something you see 20 somethings using normally unless they know how wonderful it can be on your hair. Im a carefree curl gold girl myself

i never said anything though, i hate to assume things and end up being wrong lol

im susprecting this girl that works within my department at the university,
i work on the fourth floor and she works on the first so i went downstairs to get something from the offices down stairs and there she was......

sitting with a GORG twistout, it looked so soft and moisturized and IMO i dont think naturals get enough praise so i walked up to her and told her how nice her hair looked
and asked "did you do a two strand twist to acheive that?" she just smiled and said yes.
and then went on to compliment my hair.

now i noe u dont have to be nikos cousin to do a two strand twist but idk, she jus looked like she knew exactly what she was doing with that style..

hmm maybe ill have some more tlks with her then finally get to ask her...
