Anyone ever run into or suspect someone to be a LHCF member?

Here I grow again!
I mean outside of planned meetups. I'm having lunch in Vegas and saw a sister with bsl or longer hair in a ps, hanging long but her ends were covered. She was with a guy and another sista who was in a 3/4 or full wig. I told hubby that they are both probably intentionally wearing ps and could be LHCFers. He lol @ me for noticing but I can't help it now.:lachen:

btw, was anyone @ the buffet @ the M resort today (Easter)?

lol, all the time I want to ask if folks are nikos cousins!!! i live in nyc so there's tons of raggedy hair so the pretty stuff natural or chemically treated stands out!

I thought maybe someone that I knew was member because she stopped getting relaxers and chopped her hair off almost two years ago. She wore her hair in natural styles like afros, etc. She complained about how hard her hair was to manage and she was getting it cut. I thought it was a bad idea, but she cut it anyway. That is when I thought she can't be a member of LHCF. She would not have passed up all these wonderful tips you ladies give for managing natural hair.

oh yes girl, all the time. Protective stylin and junk. There's this group of ladies at church who all have fabulous hair and their young daughters who are barely teens have waist length hair. I wonder about them all the time.

Two weeks ago, this fly sister got hired at my job (I work at a 'gym', but we call it a fitness facility :look:) That's beside the point...

She's in sales but came in to my department to cross-train. She looked at my hair and said, "So you're natural too, huh?". I told her yes and confessed that I had a weave in right now, but I am natural underneath.

When she said, "I like to wear my natural hair straight. I can't stand when 'they' say that natural hair can't revert."

:look:

That was the first clue. A few days later she came into my office, and we started talking hair again. She was using wayyyy too many words that only us girl's know. I blurted out, "Are you on Long Hair Care Forum?"

She smiled and said, "Uh huh. I'm also on Black Hair Media, I read Mane & Chic, Curly Nikki...Kimmaytube on YouTube rocks"

:eh:

I did a little leap for joy. I now have someone I can talk hair about in person instead of just online  Hey Nicole

yep.
there is this lady at my job that has amazing natural hair. its about apl and right now she is in a weave for ps. but thats not why i think she is a nikos' cousin. i think she is because of the things she says to me. like when i first did the bc she told me she would bring me some shea butter cream she made. then a couple days ago she was like "your hair is getting so long. are you taking pics?"
i was like:blush:. now who else takes pics of their hair but us?

I was in Perimeter mall last month, I know this chick had to be a nikos cousin. Her hair was so long and healthy. Hmmm what that you NJOY?

I was just in this hair salon in harlem called lila's on friday and I wanted to ask a couple of the ladies if they were nikos cousins lol

I must admit that when I see Black women looking at "White products" in the hair products aisle, I wonder if they are LHCFers

There's this girl with a very pretty afro. I see her often at the Target. You can't tell me she isn't a member of a hair site.

I was asked if I was Niko's cousin over a year ago
by VAgirl
She is so pretty, she was dress like Michelle Obama when Michelle wore that cute black and white dress on the View.

Yes, all tho I didn't caught what their hair looked like, these two black ladies were looking for Victoria secret conditioner that was raved about because of the smell awhile ago, it was for dry and damage hair this was yesterday. It wasn't there... seems like VS reformulated all their conditioners.. oh no, I wasn't going to buy it anyway, just wanted to read the ingredients.

They had to have heard about it some where, they were talking about that one specific conditioner.. before this site I didn't even know VS carried conditioner.. and I was sure I would never consider buying one from them

once!!! it was like around x-mas or new yrs at the club. saw this chick with tlb unstretched 3c'ish hair. i stared at her the whole freakin nite lol she probably thought i was a weirdo lol

today sort of...I was around Pitkin in the beauty supply store looking for a banana clip, and this other girl came in and also picked one up, and then asked me for advice about whether the IC fantasia gel that she had was good or not. I recced that and said I thought aloevera gel was also good and she nodded like she knew exactly what I meant (most people would have just been like 'what kind of gel? huh?'

also when I was in the same store arguing with my mom about how all the greases were pretty much the same thing and the different colors and all that are largely bull, this lady with a beautiful natural puff walked by, looked at the jar of dax in my hand, and just said "it clogs the pores" so I turned to my mom as if to say "SEE!?" lol. I should have asked them both of they were niko's cousins

I could see that this woman had a sandwich bag :perplexed on the end up her pontail peeking out from under her scarf. I thought she was as crazy as a besty bug.....until I found this site.:lachen:

Yes. This woman at work saw me in the cafe and asked me how long I'd been natural. She said she was transitioning and thought her hair might be similar texture. She then asked me if I visited CurlyNikki. I said yes - and also here and NC.com. She was so excited to have a fellow hair addict to talk to. Sadly, I don't see her anymore and I was too stressed to ask for her screen name.

I was at the salon yesterday to get my brows threaded. There was a lady that was just finishing up in front of me. When she was paying for her services, I noticed that she had her hair in a pretty bun, with a headband. Here hair looked very healthy, soft, and had a pretty wave texture to it. I couldn't tell if she was natural, or relaxed but stretching. She asked the Indian lady that checked her out where she could find coconut oil. That is when I had a light bulb moment. I kind of smiled to myself.

HA..Sometimes I wonder... One time I was at 711 after the club...I notice the girl at the counter was natural and had serious curl definition. I asked her what she used, she started going into the realms of ecostyler gel...Even called her roommate to get the name and wrote it down for me.. I had to stop and think like ( LHCFer maybe :look:) .. The other morning I was doing my Morning walk at this park not to far from my job. This lady had the prettiest Puff.. I mean freaking gorgeous ,serioulsy healthy.. everytime we passed, we exchanged a smile.. even some words.. I couldn't stop lookin at her hair..I couldn't help but to think she was on here or some hair site ... LOL ..I always think about things like that when I see goregous heads of hair ...

Because I see quite a few members near or around my location posting. I'm always wondering when I see certain people wearing PS or braidouts, or if I see someone buying certain products. But I never ask.
