*PICS INCLUDED* He has these little bumps he is worried and since I am here a lot he asked me to check the forum if U could get any insight.

A little back story, since I started my hair journey I have tormented him with every thing, I mean everything he is even speaking the lingo now.

So now if you can help. Please do. He went to the barber two days ago they used a shear, the electric ones. Could it just be burns?

Pics in next post.

It could be a reaction to dirty blades
he could try triple antibiotic ointment and see if that helps.

It's really thick and normally I would not rec forthe scalp but since he shaved it
I don't see a problem with using it

My SO shaves his head every three days and he gets the same thing sometimes. He think that its his skin being irritated by the razor. He applys alchohol and aftershave to it several time a day and it is gone in a few days.

HTH

It looks like it could be ingrown hairs. I think some tea oil mixed with something to dilute it. Or maybe do some apple cider vinegar wipes just so they don't get infected. Then perhaps in a couple of days you might have to help the hairs out so they grow straight.

looks like irritation or a rash, bentonite clay is good for skin conditions. a bentonite clay mask on the back of his neck would heal it.

It looks like an allergic reaction to the blades? Maybe the metal used? Does it itch? My skin breaks out when I were costume gold/silver jewelry. It goes away in a couple days on its. Tea Tree Oil or Castor Oil helps heal the skin.

Looks like razor bumps.

I use to get those when a stylist would try to give me an edge up in the back. I have one of those W shaped hairlines in the back.

Some type of astringent and then jojoba oil, alove vera, or tea tree oil should take care of it.

All of the suggestions in the other posts are good also.

Looks like they used dirty clippers. I've seen this a few times with my brother. He would use alcohol or after shave. It's either from the clippers being dirty or he was burned by the friction.

Yea it looks like irritation or razor bumps...I would try a good astringent to keep it clean and follow up with an antibiotic ointment to prevent infection and inflammation. He might also be able to use some aloe vera gel to soothe the irritation as well :yep:

Ohhhhhhhhh - I recognize that head!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree . . . Tend skin should help.

IMO it could be one of 3 things: Razor rash, allergic reaction to clippers that were not properly cleaned prior to use, or ingrown hairs....

I think it is an irritation also he says it happened soon after he was done with the shaving.

Don't think it is ingrown since he says he felt it directly after.

No itching.

Would it itch if it was dirty clippers.

Ah Madamdot, you know he ordered me to get on the site and get help!!

He should use electric clippers and not face razors, they are not designed for the head

Did not use the face razors it was the electric one at the barber.

Thank you ladies I will update. Thanks for the help.

I don't have any bentonite clay but I will have him try the alcohol and aloe vera gel

DH gets those too its just irritation. Dh's skin is too sensitive to get shaved down like that and bumps up everytime they clip him too close

it looks like those bumps from dirty blades and/or not using an astrigent (sp?) after shaving... like sea breeze or even alcohol

whatever you do, DO NOT apply aloe vera gel to this. my friend had something similar last year and I told him to put a tiny bit of aloe to see whether it would smooth things out. wouldnt you know it? he put globs and globs of aloe and the bumps pretty much just tripled in size :lachen:  so yeah. please dont use aloe
