Anyone actually write down your hair schedule? :look: I can be a tad bit anal sometimes. Sticking to lists helps me be more productive. lol I have a lot planned for my hair in the upcoming week, and since I'm not good at keeping up with things if it's not in my phone, I have to write it down. lol

Here's my schedule. Anyone else do this?

When I first started I was quite good and I wrote every single thing down. However back then I was trying out 97887936 different products so it was useful to document how good each one was. Now I'm really lazy, it's because my routine and products rarely change; I do the same thing week in, week out!

Where's Mummy's Girl? That miss has her regimen all scheduled.
Me? Not so much. My hair goes where it's spirit leads.

You're not the only one. I keep track of my hair schedule on my phone. I have it remind me when I need to DC, telax, do protien treatments, clarify, everything. I also put record the dates of when I last did something to my hair such as a trim, flat ironed, or installed braids, etc.

I have mine planned out in a daily planner, with all the things I have going on, I can't remember everything, it helps out a lot.

I don't b/c I do same thing every week

Yea, I think once I get to that point I won't need a list anymore, but I'd probably still want reminders. I'm really absentminded. I barely remember what I said or what happened the day before, so I need all the help I can get. lol

I'm also absent-minded so for me to remember I just do the same thing and keep it as simple as possible so I won't forget. If I want to try a new product (shampoo or conditioner), I put in the shower as soon as I get it to remind me to use it.

Love your schedule--I'm a sucker for a spreadsheet. I don't have a schedule, but I maintain a spreadsheet to track ingredients oils, herbs and the like that I want to research/use and the results.

I usually just track my touch-ups and dust/trim. Everything else is pretty much routine. When I was first starting my hair jouney I would track/schedule products used and when, water intake, supplements, progress, treatments..way too much all in the name of hurr. It does help though, but I no longer have the time...or I have eased up a bit.

You are so organized! But I use my calendar on my email from work to schedule length checks, to track time in braids, the day I start a stretch, etc. Nothing as detalied as yours though, Ediese.

I put a reminder in my phone every three months to trim when the moon is growing and is in cancer. That's the extent of my written planning. The rest is routine. Wash onDD on Saturday and me on Sunday. I style however I want with whatever tickles my fancy at the time.

What is the name of this method? I want to read more about it.

I do my hair on Monday's. Whether its dying my hair, rollersetting, using my steamer, hot oil treatments, etc... Monday's are just better. This is the day I work from home and have the house to myself.

Ediese, I love making lists! You must be very organized.

Mine routine is pretty much the same all the time....i usually write on the calender just my touch up times...this helps me with stretching my relaxers....also with dustings and trimmings.

Yes, I keep a hair calendar. My pre-planned activities such as protein treatments, relaxers, and trims are written in pencil, in case I have any changes. I track my vitamins as well as document everything I use and how I use it on wash days. I also like to keep track of which daily products I am using and how my hair is styled. IMO, keeping a calendar doesn't take a lot of effort. :yep:

Meeee!

I make my schedule out for 3 months at a time with Google calendar. Then i just move things around as i go if anything needs to be changed. Love it because it sends me reminders in my e-mail and phone.

Yes, I use my planner and a wall calendar. The planner keeps me in line with my weekly schedule even though its the same. But I use the wall calendar to watch for my length check dates, trims, protein and clarifying.

If I have a break during the day or the train is taking too long to move, I'll write out my "hair plan" for wash day, even though it's always the same.
