If you relax your edges you are no longer natural. You can't have it both ways.
UGH!!! I wanted you guys to say "yeah go for it" SO BAD. I have tried that Lustrasilk Slick Stick (it's like wax), Hairveda Pur Whipped Gel, Eco-Style Gel, Castor Oil, S-Curl Texturizer Gel and laid my scarf on immediately. By mid morning, my rough edges are crawling back up looking crazy. Any other suggestions please?
The green Fantasia Gel works, old school brown gel, and yesterday someone was saying that grease works. Are you using a scarf to hold the edges down after you apply XXXXX?
ETA: a small toothbrush really does wonders.
Thanks pearlycurly. Maybe I need to stop towel drying my hair then applying products, I should apply them when my hair is wet.
Nope but I plan on grabbing some on my way home. Thanks!Have you tried good ol regular brown gel....or blue gel? Idk who makes em but they used to work for me as a natural!
Another thing I do to is that on a non wash day when I am looking for neat edges, I spray with Aussie Hair insurance and then apply Gel.
One other tip, Dlewis does vaseline under gel for hold.
I was waiting on this response. Thanks ma!oh pleaseee, relax your edges if you want tooo, who the hell cares if its cheating or not cheating, as long as your happy with how YOUR hair looks.
