So i know my hair and i know my hair CRAVES moisture. I have only used PC once but i still know that my DC's arent getting it. I need a really good one and i would prefer something that didn't have parabens and cones in it.

What DC's do you ladies use that? I need something that is really heavy. Chime in ladies. BTW have any of you ladies tried Darcy's Botanicals Deep Conditioning mask?

I've heard the "honey suckle rose" I think its Aubreys is good. Without cones and gives great moisture.

I recently used Suave Professional Almond & Shea Butter. I put my hair into 4 twists and covered them with the conditioner then went back and covered the conditioner with EVOO. I covered my hair with a shower cap and rinsed it out when I felt like it (I don't know the exact amount of time because I accidentally fell asleep)

I know there has been a big debate lately about regular conditioners not being able to penetrate the hair, but this left my hair the softest and most moisturized it has ever been.

I am here to save the day by sharing my secret super moisturixing slip giving DC. It's Elasta QP DPR-11. I also tried some La bomba Dominican Condtioner it was on sale for 2.99 cause no one buys it at this BSS I went to and she said it's discontinued it also let my hair feeling very soft and moisturized but strong. When I get paid I'm going back for more. Who can beat 2.99 for a nice DC. It doesn't smell so hot but it doesn't stink either.

I use Dikson Cremactive Hair Treatment Cream when necessary. It's amazing stuff, with or without steam. I don't know if it'd be right for you-- it's more for finer hair types.

Sounds like you're just going to have to run a trail and error with different products until you find one that your hair likes. I'd love to know what you decide.

I have yet to try it but I hear mixing Jamaican Black Castor Oil in your DC makes it uber moisturizing.

why dont you tell us all the ones that youve tried so we can suggest new ones with out repeating what u already dont like?

Have you tried Virgin Coconut Oil alone as an overnight deep treatment or adding it do a conditioner you already have?

I also cannot get enough moisture and have been unimpressed by ORS, Aubrey O, etc. I recently bought several products online from the small/boutique brand Shescentsit. The Banana Brulee conditioner in the tub is very thick and clotted and moist; it practically jiggles within the tub. It is like applying thick custard pudding to the hair.

I like it quite a lot. Come to think of it, their bottled conditioners (like the Honey Conditioning Rinse) are also very thick and custardy.

Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm. I'm a 4b, I think, 7 or 8 months post, just came out a weave for 3 months. Had a serious knot, man that sucka disappeared after globbing some of this stuff on, and my hair was moisturized like I've never felt before. Not sure about cones, I think it may have some

The honeysuckle rose conditioner made my hair very sticky and tangled! I hated it - and I tried it several times - I ended up using the rest of it to clean my bruses and combs!! It smelled nice but :nono:. My hair is picky with ors - sometimes it loves it and sometimes it doesn't - it seems better if I haven't used it in awhile. I really like Kenra moisturing conditioner. And of course - good old NTM deep conditioner in the jar...

Have you tried "Yes to Carrots" Hair Mask? I haven't but I'm about to get some next week cause I've read good things about it.

Ingredients List

Water (Aqua), Silt (Maris Limus), Dead Sea Water (Maris Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Oil, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Niacin, Dimethicone, Algae Extracts (Rhodella, Dunaliella, Spirulina), Ipomoera Batatas (Sweet Potato) Extract, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Juice, Daucus Carota (Carrot) Organic Extracts, Daucus Carota (Carrot) Juice, Panthenol, Chamomila Recutita (Chamomile) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Juice, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Fragrance (Parfum), Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Oil, Apple Vinegar (Acetum), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Daucus Carota (Carrot) Seed Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Peel Extract.

As you can see there is "cone" but it is not extremely high up on the list.
